We chose Jhonny from 3 quotes, which were about the same, to fit two new doors and replace handles and locks on the remaining doors. He was chosen because of his friendly manner and knowledgeable banter. Thankfully he did not disappoint and maintained a very friendly, professional and patient approach throughout. His attention to detail is excellent and works in a tidy manner, ensuring that he clears up once completed. This is the first time we have called on him and will definitely be calling on him again very soon!!! Thanks for an excellent job Jhonny.

I hired Kevin to paint external walls of my house. Kevin did a very good job of painting the walls. He was very professional with his approach. The quote he gave included all the details of the work and breakdown of labour / material etc, plus duration of the job. He was very neat and tidy in his work. His work was of high quality, will hire him again or recommend him.

Matt and his son did a brilliant job on decorating and repairing the laminate floor. Nothing was too much trouble! Very approachable and supportive to me as I live 130 miles away from the property. They were on site for around 3 weeks in total. This is an HMO across 3 floors and it have been totally transformed making it easier to attract professional tenants for each room. I would strongly recommend Matts Decorating Services to anyone looking for a dedicated professional that takes pride in their work.

We had a new kitchen put in, new flooring, and also a number of DIY tasks such as curtain hanging around our house that Shaun from Alaska was brought on to complete. Absolutely all aspects of the work were exemplary - from the communication, to punctuality, politeness and respect, and the work itself. Everything was excellent. Shaun was quick to respond to messages, he was accommodating to our schedule, and managed the job perfectly. Where we needed to bring in specialists for things like gas, Shaun was able to lead and guide in those areas including helping us to locate the right quotes. The work itself was second to none, the quality of the finish and attention to detail is commented upon by everyone who visits our house. Shaun did not take any shortcuts in completing the work, and ensured that high quality ran through everything even as elementary as the parts that were used (as finely considered as selecting quality screws and nails!). As a result, our kitchen and floors look impeccable and feel premium. I have no hesitation in recommending Alaska, and have done so to close friends. Further, I intend to use Alaska again for my forthcoming bathroom renovations.
