Hi, My name is John. I've over 30 years experience in all types of DIY jobs around the home from simply putting up a curtain rail or fixing a leaky tap to large Summer house installs from ground up to the finished item. I strive to be meticulous in everything I do, getting things right is important to me, I take pride in what I do for customers & love the feeling of seeing a job that puts a smile on your face, I'll treat your home & you with respect and care. It's important to me that I can look at my work and be proud of every job I do, I believe "I'm only as good as my last job" If I come across a task I've not done before I will say so, that way you have the choice whether to let me research it and complete it or move on to someone that's done it before. I like to look at jobs wherever possible (a bit "old school" I know) but that way you get the fairest price & timescale possible, things like "flat pack" are easier as I can look on-line and get an idea of timescales. I'm happy to offer suggestions or advice regarding possibilities that may better fulfil your vision for your project whether inside or outside your home. I won't mess you about as this is your home you are invested in it & it's important to you to be proud of it. That said things can go wrong, accidents do happen so I have £5,000,000 liability insurance so you can be assured if something untoward should happen you're covered. Some of the things I've done recently are; Fences, Gates, Decking installs/ cleaning re staining, Sheds, Summer houses, Grass cuts, Turfing, Hedges, Tree lopping, Patio repairs/cleaning and sealing. Gutter cleaning/repairs, Exterior painting walls & woodwork. Flat pack build/repairs, Curtain rails, Blinds, Woodwork installs/repairs, Doors install/repairs, hanging, resizing(for carpets), small Plumbing, Skirting & architraves, Interior painting & decorating Curtain rails, Shelves, Picture hanging, Flat pack builds and refurbishment, Laminate/Engineered flooring. I look forward to hearing from you.

I'm Dan, a carpenter who also takes on fencing, property maintenance and general handyman jobs. Carpentry is my main trade, from hanging doors, fitting skirting and laying flooring to decking, timberwork and those awkward little jobs that have been sitting on your to-do list for the last three years. I also build and repair fences, tackle general repairs and sort out the jobs you either don't have the time, tools or patience to deal with. I like doing things properly, turning up when I say I will and leaving things tidy. Nothing revolutionary, I know, but apparently it's worth mentioning. No hard sell, no unnecessary fuss. Just good workmanship, honest advice and a decent cup of tea if one's going.
