I’m Alex I’ve been self employed for 13 years now, I carry out all aspects of carpentry work, also have vast experience in ground works and laying patios. I have completed many extension and roof conversions. I’ve always done all aspects of tiling be it kitchen floors or bathrooms. I have been in construction for 40 years, in recent years I have worked as a senior manager. I have always kept my skills as a carpenter and I also carry out plastering, decorating and other associated trades. I am a small renovation company specialising in plastering, tiling, carpentry and maintenance including decoration , ex military, but with 25 years experience in the trade. concentrated on almost only domestic projects. From single wall skims to full boarding and stud work. Repairs and artex cover up work. I also do associated carpentry with plasterwork, including skirting, architraves, window cills etc. And I also fit the odd kitchen or bespoke wardrobe project. I normally work on smaller projects as I like to work to a very high standard . My original background was as a tiler before I left for a 12 year military career in the royal navy,but then retrained as I plastering and have done that as well ever since, I have worked on many bathroom renovations and tiling projects since and subcontracted to a Bristol based contractor who delt with mostly bathrooms and kitchens, approximately 30 years experience in both trades. Most of my work has been in Bristol and bath on mostly period properties and projects working with various contractors and developers, all domestic projects. But have relocated to Somerset and I’m now available in that area, although I still look after some of my previous customers in the Bristol area . I cover most types of work and don’t concentrate solely on plastering and tiling as there’s always the next phase , including carpentry, through to decoration, whether that be just the mist coat, base coat or full decoration, please feel free to check out the Facebook page for some examples , using my builder now to get myself some more local work, many thanks , rob
