Regretfully, I have had to leave a negative for Andrew. We agreed on a start date and price- Confirmed by various message exchanges. Then before the start despite being chased by myself and wife, messages were being ignored and of course Andrew did not even bother to inform us nor turn up. We have to now go through the process of seeking alternative arrangements.

Jake and Harry did an amazing job with our front wall and fence in the rear garden. We got three quotes for the job and they were the cheapest but also came across professionally. It wasn't a straight forward job, it was was using reclaimed materials that were varying size and shapes. I was also quite particular on the look, I wanted the brickwork to match our house, they took care to match the pointing and bricks but offered advice on how we could save money whist still getting the look we wanted. They arrived everyday on time, they were reliable, honest and extremely hardworking. They also kept us in the loop throughout the work making sure we were going to be happy with the end result. I have already recommended them to friends and will use them again for our next project. Thumbs up from us!

CBK Design & Build did an excellent job of transforming my derelict deck into a bright usable patio. I am very pleased with the outcome… and so are the neighbours it would appear. They excelled in all aspects of the job 1. The Quote: Everything was clearly indicated and was very competitive. Any adjustments were made promptly and revised quote was immediately available. All queries were instantly answered and advice was also valuable. 2. The Work: Work started at indicated time on the agreed day. They were very quick and it was probably the worst week weather wise for this job. But they carried on despite that. The work was completed within the estimated time, with little or no wastage of material and to a high standard. All unexpected issues were quickly resolved and creatively too. Poor quality work from previous tradesmen was also rectified for no extra. 3. Attitude: Both Mehmet and Serkan worked with smiles on their faces through some of the worst weather, and all other unexpected issues with no complaints at all. Very positive work ethics. Extra points for doing their best to not upset or intrude into my special needs child’s space. They even used toilets at local gas station (even though we were ok with them using our facilities) to that effect. They are more like friends of the family now, and will definitely use them again. Thank you MyBuilder.com for a great tradesman.

Hired Jeff to remove old shed, and prepare a new 2.8m x 4.8 m base. Jeff was very easy to communicate with, answered all my questions, the team turned up as planned on time, worked hard, completed all works requested, and ensured that any mess they made was fully cleaned up. Left all the old shed broken up, as requested. Jeff and the team were great and very please with the result. Highly reccomended

They were great. My new kitchen is fantastic. We chatted before the work started, what was going to happen when, when we needed to get things delivered (kitchen, flooring, taps, lights, fridge, paint etc etc). They kept to the timetable and delivered the project perfectly. They kept me informed when they faced issues (hidden lead pipes that needed tackling, dodgy electrics etc), we worked through the issues as they arose. They even came in and worked a Saturday to catch up time after the plaster took longer to dry because of the cold weather. They were friendly, smiley and they kept an eye out for my inquisitive cats who wanted to help out. They built a temporary barrier to keep the dust at bay and tidied up every night so living amongst the chaos was doable. I have another couple of smaller jobs needing doing and I will be calling them back in. They were skilled at their work and were reasonably priced too. They are now replacing next door's kitchen after I recommemded them.

I was very impressed with the workmanship from Ionut Breban! I was keen to have someone who knows what they are doing to plaster the 3 kitchen walls and get them ready for painting. It wasn’t a straightforward job as the walls were in bad shape and the crumbling old plaster needed to be scraped to the bare bricks! This caused me a bit of anxiety about how it would turn out! I take my hat off to Ionut and he rectified the problems with confidence! I look at the walls now and it brings a smile to my face! Thanks Ionut for the amazing transformation of my kitchen walls which are now ready for painting! I would highly recommend him to anyone who requires any plastering done! He is cheerful, knowledgeable and very helpful!
