I had three quotes and Chris was the most competitive for the job. He was able to come and assess the job soon after making contact and provided a quote quickly afterwards. He was accommodating on timescales and on the day he and Dylan turned up bang on time and got to work quickly. He took care with mess and cleaned up well after the job. Chris consulted with me on little design decisions that needed to be made on the day and the end result is a very good job boxing in my Ikea bookcases that I just need to paint (I hadn’t asked him to do this for me). I’ve got the result I wanted for a fraction of the price of custom built cabinets. Chris is a super friendly guy who was happy to advise me on some questions I had about possible works in my home. We have two nosy dogs who love to acquaint themselves with whomever comes to the house and he and Dylan were great with them. I’d definitely hire him again.

Once I had posted the work to be completed, Tom promptly visited my property, quoted a reasonable price and scheduled the work at a convenient time. Tom and his team completed the work over two days on a weekend. The work was completed to a high standard and the site was left clean and tidy. Tom and his team were professional, friendly and considerate. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

I have had a new kitchen put in place of an old one. The works took a week to complete, around 3 days to take out the old units, and the remainder for the new once to go in, and then some finishing works. There has not been any major disturbance in the property during that period and the works were completed according to the initial estimates both time-wise and money-wise. On 12th June we negotiated the price and he informed me he can start the job on 3rd July which I accept it. Then he wanted 50% of the cost in advance which I have refused and he said he is trying to get a credit from selco and he will let me know later on. I messaged him again to confirm his attendance but he said he is on holiday and no more words. On 2nd July I messaged him to confirm again but didn't replied and on 3rd July he messaged and said his got another job and he couldn't get a credit and he is not coming. He stood me up for 3 weeks and even had no decency to let me know earlier. I refused another carpenter because of him. Be aware of this man as I believe he is not trustworthy, carelessness and inhuman. Most trade man will do the job and send the invoice and then ask for money. I am sure he is a con man and perhaps after getting the money in advance not turning on. Don't trust him and never give money in advance.

Adrian produced (1) a shelving solution for our basement (2) shoe and coat storage in our hallway (3) utility room storage for a washer and dryer and (4) a radiator cover. Everything was done to an extremely high standard. Adrian was cost competitive and a pleasure to deal with, always leaving the house impeccably tidy and even fitting in some odd jobs that were not part of the main work. Would highly recommend.
