From start to finish, the work was carried out with exceptional professionalism — he arrived on time, worked efficiently, and completed the job faster than expected without cutting any corners. What really stood out was his ability to identify and fix several issues left behind by a previous carpenter. He addressed each problem with care and skill, leaving everything looking and functioning exactly as it should. It was a relief to finally have someone who truly knew what they were doing. Despite the high quality of work, his quote was incredibly reasonable — exceptional value for the standard of craftsmanship delivered. We never felt oversold or overcharged. Didn’t return to finish the job, respond to calls or messages in response to finishing the job. Sadly wouldn’t hire Ovi & Mihai (O&C) again. Friendly & responsive initially. Worked well, on time, eager to please, did a good job - not perfect but adequate, average attention to detail but corrected when asked. We initially had a faux chimney put in, they touted for more work & provided alcove shelving/cabinet ideas which we subsequently hired them for. They worked intermittently (dad around for first half of job then left for Romania) as this was agreed as best for both parties. However they left the job incomplete once paid (were paid on time, each time, with no bargaining). Didn’t respond to texts or calls, leaving cabinet doors unfinished, large chips & cracks unfilled. Laminate was also poorly cut around hearth stone, left chimney cutout unfinished with no cement to the base. Lack of respect and wouldn’t hire again as cannot trust they won’t disappear. Note previous reviews.

Adrian produced (1) a shelving solution for our basement (2) shoe and coat storage in our hallway (3) utility room storage for a washer and dryer and (4) a radiator cover. Everything was done to an extremely high standard. Adrian was cost competitive and a pleasure to deal with, always leaving the house impeccably tidy and even fitting in some odd jobs that were not part of the main work. Would highly recommend.

Jeremy was very proactive and friendly, but ultimately didn't do as good a job as I would have expected. The brief was clear (I wanted the entire area turned over and prepared for planting) and he estimated 2 days' work. His estimate was off but instead of communicating this (and possibly re-negotiating fees) he handed over a half-finished job. While everything looked great at first glance, I still find large bricks, slabs and other debris less than 10 inches below the surface which makes planting anything into the flower borders an absolute pain. When I complained Jeremy did refund 10% of the job costs but ultimately I would have preferred a better quality of work and as a result would not chose to hire Jeremy again.

I gave Tamas a fairly long list - two toilet flush issues, a bathroom extractor fan replacement, a broken living-room shutter, plus a couple of extras like hanging a mirror and re-fixing a smoke alarm to the ceiling. He got through the whole lot quickly and efficiently in a single visit. He was diligent too, testing everything before he left to make sure each repair worked and was done properly. Friendly, easy to have around, clearly knew what he was doing, and charged a very fair price for the amount of work involved. Would happily use Tamas again and recommend him to anyone needing a reliable handyman.
