We have been working with Derek Borkiewicz (Sebek Construction) on a renovation of a garden flat in Little Venice since last autumn. We needed to completely restore the whole flat, including the garden. This was our second renovation project and by this time we knew what we wanted to do, which mistakes to avoid and what to pretend from a qualified builder. We will never stop saying how lucky we have been to find Derek and his team! Derek is not only a professional builder who is very careful to the smallest of the details. He is not only a very good project manager who is constantly checking the work of his men. Derek is a friend who takes on board a project like it is his own project. He suggested the most convenient and best solutions for any problem we came across during the works. There wasn’t a time when he didn’t know what to do to solve a difficult situation (and there are lots of small and big issues coming up in a renovation work) no matter how complicate they were and how long it took to solve them. His availability and his courtesy are incredible above all in a fast running city like London. This is priceless to us. His hard work can be seen in the wonderful result we reached with this garden flat. If we ever decide to work on another project we won’t think twice about working with Derek once again.
