On our first meeting I felt comfortable and was glad of input from Robin. Agreed to a plan and only had to wait a few weeks before work could start. All preparations made to protect my drive before skip arrived. All work carried out in a very professional manner and team were very polite and friendly. Even though weather was against ground works they provided shelter so work could continue. I’ve been very pleased with their approach and can’t fault the outcome. Although met with a couple of delays on garden furniture, (nothing to do with Robin and his team, circumstances outside control)all other aspects of this job have met with my approval. Was apprehensive of having people in but can honestly say there have not been any issues and when the skip was removed within an hour, Robin was back on site to clear and wash down the drive. So looking as good as new. It’s been a pleasure having them on my property and will look at using their services again in the future should the need arise. Nothing too much bother. So my thanks to them all.

The cladding was due to start yesterday, Monday 6th of September. In the weekend, I was told they would come do a site visit on Monday instead of starting the job. They came on site yesterday morning and nothing was said about any issues. They said they would start the next day, Tuesday. I got a call at the end of the afternoon (around 5 pm) yesterday to be told suddenly that there are many problems; not levelled portions of frame (which can be easily rectified), no toilet on site (which they knew about - they knew also that the public toilet is only 50 m away), access problems which they also knew about ect... Suddenly a multitude of problems arised! They wanted more money. It is very obvious that they found another job somewhere. I would classify this sort of behaviour simply as not honest. Also expensive- I was quoted £4000 to clad a tiny first-floor(38 m2) . The overall cladding would be 75 m2 in total. Disappointing.

I would highly recommend hiring AT Building Services, Adrian was brilliant with communication and was very accommodating of our need for a quick turnaround. He repaved our patio, laid some artificial grass and also a shingle bed. The whole job was done to a very high standard and looks great. Adrian and his team were very friendly, highly skilled and professional and they went above and beyond what we expected from them. His quote was very reasonable and we would definitely contact him again for any future work as well as recommending him to our friends.

Scott is punctual, very polite, knows his job really well. He came promptly after a courtesy call and completed the job to the fullest satisfaction. He made sure we are happy with the outcome and very friendly. I would highly recommend Scott for TV mounting, any unit assembly from flat box packing, fixing and installation and brick works. I had a number of projects that needed completing and ideally, I wanted one company to carry out all the work. This included levelling and paving the garden, new perimeter fencing, a gate, a new door and frame for the existing built-in outdoor storage cupboard, the garage roof, carport roof and garage doors. I had several people come to quote for the work, but I was particularly impressed with his eye for detail. Albey took the time to measure everything properly, write things down and carefully consider the best approach. The quotation was fixed-price, transparent and in line with what I expected. Albey and his team exceeded my expectations. They worked extremely hard throughout, even during the extreme heatwave, and remained professional, friendly and reliable at all times. Communication was excellent throughout; he kept me updated and informed me of any changes as the work progressed. The quality of the work, attention to detail and overall finish were excellent.

I have had a few jobs done through my builder in recent times and while my overall experience was always positive, I am really impressed this time. Ed and his team are lovely people have done a great job with our garden. We ended up doing a different job than I originally posted: fence replacement + paving (rather than decking) + installation of sun sail. The presence of tree roots and rainy weather made it a more challenging job but Ed and his team worked really hard to make it work and make sure we were happy with the result - and we are! Some more details below: Quote - very reasonable for the type of job and kept to budget despite some unforeseen changes Materials - Ed bought most of the materials and arranged for them to be delivered at the right time for the job Timeline - 1 week total (extended a couple of days because of the bad weather) The team - really nice and friendly team. They didn't rush and really cared about the quality of the job they were doing Tasks - Clearing garden, replacing concrete pillars, cut new fence panels to size (height and width) and replace, laying base + paving (including drainage system), installation of wooden pillars for sun sail and hook system, cut gate to size and reinstall, final cleaning Drainage - It's been a month and it works perfectly Ed and his team are now my go-to people for any future house works needs (they do quite a few different things). Don't hesitate to give them a chance and shortlist them!

HW Carpentry was absolutely amazing. They came out the same day, were personable and very easy to talk to. They even arranged to chat to the damp specialist we were using to make sure they were on the same page (re the cause and solution for the problem). They booked us in a few days later and finished the job in one day. Ricky was always available for any questions we had and we are so happy with their work! We will definitely use HW Carpentry again! Very happy with the job. I wanted to do a small(ish) project in the back garden to move a shed and build a pergola. I tendered the work and after 5 responses I found Salvo was the best price and gave a very good response to all my questions, very much “buying in” to what we were trying to achieve. During the work, he was so respectful of the house, my partner, our cats etc that we hardly knew he was there! We made some changes to the scope of work and were very grateful that he didn’t take this as an opportunity to overcharge. By the end, Salvo had moved the shed twice, built a Pergola, decking and balustrade which is now the best feature of the house!!! I am so happy with the work and the way it was carried out I would happily recommend his services to anyone.
