Disappointed! Firstly, Will and Kurt came to quote for the work, they made the job sound bigger and more time consuming than it was, so that they could justify the quote (ie men needed, payable on a daily rate, materials and timescale.) The job actually took one man half the time they specified, but wouldn’t reduce cost to reflect this, we paid the amount invoiced. When we checked the work more carefully we found 7 areas of unfinished work, Will acknowledged this and said he would come back to complete what he had missed. However, since then, he is ignoring all calls and messages from us and has not been in contact, that was two months ago. Feeling very disappointed, Will seemed a really nice guy and didn’t expect to be left in this position. We are now left to try and deal with this through citizens advice and trading standards. Steer clear unless you want to be disappointed and out of pocket!!

Arrange for the work to be carried out nearly 6 weeks in advance, agreed a date etc. unfortunately got off to a pretty rough start when Dylan’s van broke down, meaning the job was about 3 weeks delayed. We finally got a date, Dylan showed up early and got straight to work. All in all, Dylan a good job. .

Mark and his team were very hardworking, very punctual, kind and courteous throughout the project which was completed to a very high professional finish. Fantastic communication and help with the best way forward in idea`s and the best use of materials. Also the added bonus of a step built to help parent with arthritic knees gain easier entry and exit of the house which has proven a bit help to her. Stuart did mainly carpentry and joinery work on our grade II listed 18th century house. He installed lots of cupboards in awkward places, he did cladding in the bathroom, and reworked the banister. I got along with Stuart very well, I found him to be reliable and was very happy with the work he carried out. He was professional and the quality was good, he rose to the occasion. August 2024: Jeremy Mills took £3,200, made our home unsafe by removing a load bearing wall and disappeared without a trace. DO NOT HIRE! He was hired for a bathroom extension. We are expecting our second child in January 2025 we needed the bathroom. Jerry has extorted us for money, whilst working a day a week and not doing the work we asked him too. Instead he removed a wall that was structurally needed. He is incompetent, over promise and not deliver. He says he had a team of experts but it is just him. He is a brick layer yet he promises plumbing and electrical work. He falsely advertising 30 years experience but he has none. The "contract " he gives is worthless. He does not give an invoice. He disappeared with our money, blocked our numbers. We are left in an unsafe house with no bathroom, no bedroom and no money
