Nathan is enthusiastic and a hard working. The final result was excellent, though the decking finish was a little different from what I expected. But this was because of my own misunderstanding of the process and materials involved. In practical terms Nathan is fine and I recommend him if you expect a high standard of work and finish. I'm sure though that he would not mind me pointing out that he should, for his own sake, as well as the customer's, be specific in his proposal and pricing, using an agreed written contract before work starts. Job done very efficiently, cleanly and at a very reasonable price. Turned up promptly on date agreed. Very pleasant and respectful workers. Overall an excellent job. Unfortunately since the initial work was completed some of the paving has come loose and in other parts materials used have crumbled. Despite trying to contact the tradesperson on six separate and spaced out occasions vis my builder, telephone and direct messaging Shane’s has ignored my request to contact me to make good the work he undertook. This is very disappointing and unprofessional.

He is good and has very good manners and listens. He thinks about the work and does what i ask. So far he has put up a huge very heavy headboard for me by cutting a slanted piece of wood to hang it in on and fix to wall. It is perfectly positioned and level. He also has shortened the bottom of two cupboard doors very well. Next weekend he is going to mend two steps on my oak stairs. He also is going to mend a lovely old Georgian corner cupboard and hang it for me. Finally he is going to finish some fencing for me. Thank goodness there is someone available and good in the area.

Polite and Friendly and listens to the clients' needs and finds solutions to the problems. Very good communication and kept me well informed. Excellent workmanship, really pleased with the finished job. Very reasonable quote. Joe came and solved the technical issues with the job. Worked his schedule around me. Turned up on time, did a full days graft(8:30-6), cleaned up afterwards. Took everything in his stride. Found ways to re-use materials to reduce cost. No hidden surprises. Gave different payment options, and advice on how to preserve the doos. Can not rate Joe highly enough. I fully recommend him and will be hiring joe again.

There are tradesmen that are good, but Rory and Matt (the later who's is currently very competent and in training), are exceptional, and thats not too often seen these days. The guys did a fabulous job of my roof terrace decking just in excess of 40 meters with two bespoke cedar cladded alcove cupboards and a cedar feature apex return, on a roof terrace that had difficult access and was a little out of parallel in several, needing skill and several individual cuts to create. I'm highly delighted. Completed the job in a good time scale and I was very happy with the quote and am left with a bespoke finish and will certainly be using Rory for future carpentry projects. You won't be dissappointed in hiring him!
