He was really helpful with suggestions and happy to re-use our bricks for one of the walls which look great, so much better than new bricks! Work has been completed now and we couldn't be happier with it. A great job and just in time for us to take full advantage of our new patio area over the summer. Paul was super-personable and generated trust from our side. We haven't had many jobs done in the past, which makes us inexperienced clients. The immediate digging/preparation work was good, as was the disposal of all the materials. However, the finish was really very poor. The shed roof was angled to run water through the existing wooden supports (as their suggested option) and it now leaks through those supports and also, due to the angling, the new roof area - that part of the job needs redoing in full. The contractors said they'd come back if there were any problems. That was not the case. This is our error but clearly I would not recommend this service to anyone else, not least given the high costs involved. I feel really disappointed and have held off writing a review for a couple of months to ensure that what i post is fair.

Peter was very helpful and gave some ideas of what we can do to complete the job. They came by to look at what materials they needed to get before. They did a great job at a reasonable price. Communication was good. I would definitely recommend them. Also worth mentioning the great 80's music they played while working!

I found Tom via Mybuilder.com and from start to finish I found him to be very accommodating and now the project has completed pleased to say the work was carried out in a quick and professional manner. The project included creating two brick planters and small raised patio, which were completed in a matter of days. Overall happy to recommend Tom, who is prompt to make a few last minute alterations whilst on the job. Would I use Tom again, in a word ‘Yes’. Thank you for all your hard work.

Hired Madelin recently for home renovations which included removing wood chipped wallpaper, plastering/skimming from living room + hallways. Was so impressed with Madelin's tireless hardwork, attention to detail, and craftsmanship that I also added replacing laminate flooring too. Quotes were transparent with breakdown on services and materials. Madelin also accommodated extra work too for a fair price and very small things free of charge which I appreciated. Overall, I was extremely pleased with Madelin's tidiness, punctuality, transparency/ honest communication and final finish of my home renovations. Would highly recommend and have favourited for future home renos.

We have always found it a problem trying to match the correct tradesman to any work we have needed doing, so much so that many jobs have been left undone. You either end up with a personality clash, or just plain bad workmanship, well not this time. The entire process was a joy from start to finish, from the initial quoting process, to the completion and the standard of work was exemplary. Nothing seemed to be a problem for them and they were very pleasant to have around. We are busy drawing up a fresh list of jobs we need doing and would certainly thoroughly recommend them. If you have had any bad experiences in the past, give them a try, you will be very satisfied.

Remi was fantastic and completed the work to a very good standard. We ordered the decking, and he supplied the base and all other materials required for the job. We used a very dense hardwood and adapted the design, both making it a little trickier to install. He completed the majority of the works in the time originally given but then came back early on a saturday morning to finish the job. He is professional, tidy and very competitively priced. We've already asked him to look at other jobs around the house. Highly recommended.
