This has been a terrible experience. Xavier came to view the job. Seemed good and thorough. He NEVER showed up again. He sent two guys - who came a day late. I was a little intimidated by them - they implied they were in a hurry. They ended up doing good work for a day. Then left - job unfinished. Said they’d come back today at 9am. NO sign. Firstly they came on time and job was finished on time, I would have given 4 1/2 stars overall. There was a couple of things I would have given 4 1/2 stars for and a mostly I would have given 5 stars. They was always on time every morning and was nice and polite. Overall I'm satisfied and looking forward to completing the rest myself. I had so many nice builders come to look and price the work, it was hard to choose. I would totally recommend Harry to anyone who needs carpentry work completed. Harry hung 3 bi-fold doors for built in bedroom wardrobes and did some boxing in with hinged doors in my utility room. He is a hard worker, very thorough and did an excellent job. We are very pleased with his first class work and will be hiring him again for any future carpentry work we have. We have 10 years of full project management experience, working on new developments and extensions alike. We have at least 84 years collective carpentry experience to draw on, as well as access to all other trusted and experienced trades people.
JKL have built us a beautiful large garden cabin. They have been so dedicated and worked so hard through the craziest weather (wind, sleet, snow, hail, Storm Dudley, Storm Eunice and now Saharan dust!) to give us a wonderful building of the highest quality craftsmanship. Everyone has been really focused on the quality of the build -from the foreman and carpenter (who have been there every day), to the ground workers, bricklayers, scaffolders, electricians and roofers. They have all played their part in realising the design intent. Matt Williams, the owner and Company Director has also been super efficient, responsive and easy to deal with. He has been instrumental in keeping the project on time and in budget. Only a few more weeks before everything is complete and we can use the space.
