We appointed Prebuilt Contracts to carry out a small job entailing the relocation of three cupboards in our kitchen. A joiner came to assess the job and send us an estimate. Communication was good up until the day the job was meant to happen. I contacted the joiner the day before to confirm that the job would take place as intended, and I got a prompt reply stating that he would be with us at 9am. At first we thought that he was running late, so we texted at 9:30, and left a message at 10, we did not heard back so we contacted his manager at 11 to chase up. This followed hourly calls to the manager where different reasons were given (first he was up late from working the night before and was getting ready, then he had been ill the night before and was supposed to contact us). Last phone call was at 2pm, at which point we decided to stop chasing them. Six days later we still have not heard back from them, not even to re-arrange the job. If the joiner was unable to work due to illness, we would have expected clearer information from the company as well as a call to reschedule the work. We cannot comment on the standards of their work, but appalling customer service and communication skills.

I was really impressed with Eddie’s service. He was punctual, reliable and did a fantastic job building a bespoke floor to ceiling wardrobe. He took time to listen to what I wanted, we discussed every single shelf that went inside and as a result I’ve been really pleased with it. High quality workmanship too. I had originally wanted to do an IKEA PAX custom job but I was able to get exactly what I wanted and Eddie built it to fit.

He responded quickly, then came the following day. He came on time. He was very pleasant when he arrived and was confident about fixing our problem. He used several screws to secure the end panel of the fitted wardrobe to the top panel/runner, he also used sealant to bond it. He reinstalled the mirrored door and adjusted the wheels on the bottom of the door. He also advised us to keep the bottom runner clean and oil it. He worked quickly and tidily. We were very pleased with the result. We would be happy to use him again. Pleasant and likable manner.

I am very happy with my bathroom renovation, which involved replacing a shower with a bath, sorting out a damp issue in the shower, and complete re-tiling and re-plastering of the bathroom. Peter and Chris did great work, and made sure to communicate about what they were doing every step of the way. They consulted me on all important decisions, while providing expert advice to make sure everything was done to the best standard. They paid attention to detail to make sure the work is future-proof, providing long-lasting solutions rather than quick fixes (for example regarding the damp issue in the shower). They were always calm, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend them for bathroom renovations.
