We recently hired Javad of Newbarn Carpentry & Joinery Ltd to carry out some carpentry work in my mum’s kitchen, specifically to add additional support through the middle section of the worktop. I was a bit nervous & apprehensive at first. I wanted to make sure everything would go smoothly for my mother and that the person would be trustworthy, skilled and considerate. However, from the moment Javad arrived, all of my concerns quickly disappeared. He was fantastic. His workmanship was excellent, he paid great attention to detail, & worked in a methodical & efficient way. He was also incredibly kind, courteous, & respectful throughout, taking the time to explain everything clearly & being very mindful of my mum & her space. What really stood out, in addition to his skills, was his mannerism. Javad was extremely polite, patient, & a genuine pleasure to deal with. He made us both feel completely at ease, which meant a lot. I will 100% hire Javad again for future projects.

Quality of work was good. The only thing I'd wish I'd done was check the material used beforehand. The doors are mdf and reasonable quality but the frame and shelves are chipboard like. I'd assumed the whole thing would be mdf.

Very pleased with our storage bench for our bay window, it is exactly how I imagined it to be. The communication with Steve was excellent, he was punctual and very tidy. He worked non stop all day to complete the job, checking in with us for some of the more ornamental details of the custom bench.
