Media wall bespoke Understairs storage Removal of build in cupboards From the first appointment Matthew was unreal. On time always so tidy and communication is 10/10. During his work he would always make sure I was happy with all the work at each stage and the place was kept so clean. His work is flawless I'm so happy with it all. Nothing was a problem I asked Matthew to advise on other little things and he would go above and beyond to help. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. and already booking him back to do more work. Thanks again

John did a fantastic job combining some Ikea wardrobes and drawers into a bespoke piece in our sons bedroom. His communication was excellent with a fair price as well. He was also able to help out with a few extra jobs we needed doing too. I wouldn't hesitate to use John again in the future.

Kyle did an excellent job and was really helpful, offering to work late at short notice as I needed the job done urgently. He even picked up the materials for me on his way. He made good all the holes left by the removed locks to a high standard. My decorator who then painted the doors commented that it was a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to use Kyle again or recommend him to others.

My initial meeting with Chris was a discussion about a possible quirky bespoke pergola. Although I didn't have a design to show him, it was a case of chatting through my thoughts and Chris seemed to just 'get it'. After working out some measurements of timber/space/time/dates etc. I promptly received a quote. After a couple of afterthought queries which were dealt with very promptly I was reassured enough to take a leap of faith and trust in Chris's assertion that if I changed my mind at any stage regarding the design it would not be a problem. Chris and his excellent right hand man Elliot turned up on time and worked solidly for two days with a smile and cheery nature (even though an initial delivery and supplier had let them down). The temperature fluctuated by 10 degrees throughout both days but their temperament remained the same. We liaised on every next step of the job which just seemed to evolve naturally and smoothly. They are a great team. They were prompt, hard working, cheery, polite, tidy, efficient and professional. Despite me not having a concrete design up front and things getting added which Chris went out of his way to supply, the price was the same as the quote. We are extremely happy with the result and I have to give Chris credit where it's due.....Yes you are a magician with wood. Thank you. We are looking forward to seeing equal magic performed next year when we invite you back to lay a patio.

Most recently constructed a large wooden pergola with clear plastic roof. Mike did a great job of putting the timber frame together and fitting what was a quite a difficult roof. Worked efficiently and with great ideas along the way. He has completed many internal carpentry jobs for my house renovation over the last 18months id not hesitate to use again in the future or indeed recommend.

Simon was polite, efficient and very tidy. He listened to what I wanted (which was a little unusual), asked questions at each stage to make sure he was doing exactly what I wanted, advised when he thought an idea wouldn’t work and gave his own suggestions, communicated well with all the other tradesmen involved, got them all to do their bit in a timely fashion and worked very hard. I am getting him back to do another job imminently!

Based on my experience I have no hesitation recommending BCB Building Services who came recommended to me prior to this work by word of mouth. I needed to carry out modest renovation and remediation works on a newly purchased period property requiring many trades; general builder, scaffolder, plumber, plasterer, roofer, landscaper and damp specialist, etc. Brad and BCB team promptly provided a quote and, essential for me, agreed to source and project manage the diverse trades required to complete the work. They are busy but worth the patience and short wait necessary to get the work done by them. The workforce were professional, tidy, courteous and organised minimising disruption during the works and leaving the house clean and undamaged in their wake. The works were delivered per schedule and to a high standard and whilst not the cheapest, the pricing is fair and I believe the outcome represents tremendous value. Brad and the team remained pro-active beyond works completion and engaged actively in addressing the small amount of trivial snagging. They are now my go to for building works.

I could not recommend Dale Smith. Whilst he did a reasonable job removing the fitted bedroom furniture, he did not fulfil the brief. He did not make good the walls and ceiling to an acceptable standard. It was less than a days work and I was paying him nearly £800. He fitted all the furniture into his van, ready to take to the tip. When I asked him to return to complete the job, he replied that if I didn’t pay him he would return and leave all the fitted furniture on my door step. I paid him £700 but then had to employ another tradesperson to fill the holes left in the walls and ceiling, so that I could have the room painted.
