From start to finish Ian was a joy to work with. His extensive experience was very reassuring and nothing seemed to phase him. He kept completely to the brief but also kept costs down when further work was needed. The work was of a high standard and good value for money. Ian was flexible, helpful, diligent and trustworthy, and a nice person too. Tidying up afterwards is automatic and thorough, and Ian will provide updates as often as you like. There is also a sweet, genuine story behind the name of the firm. The name initially raised my eyebrows but I urge you to look beyond it! I did and I would happily use Ian again.

In 2017 I moved to Goudhurst in Kent and I focus on smaller projects that I can carry out alone or with the help of my fellow builders.

My house, which I purchased new six years ago was lacking in wardrobe/storage space on the top floor. I had a couple of quotes from well-known specialist companies, but no one was able to offer doors to match the house. Then I found Joe from Seagull Carpentry through a local advertisement. Not only was he able to offer what I wanted as a fair price, but his standards of work and his attention to detail was better than I could ever have hoped for. I cannot recommend Joe highly enough.

Work had been postponed and required new quote due to price of materials increasing. Quote did not materialise, so had to seek alternative quote from another carpenter and therefore cannot comment on workmanship.

Paul did a fantastic job. Excellent communication from start to finish. He was very prompt to collect and deliver the climbing frame and dismantled and re-assembled it perfectly.
