Absolutely fantastic job done fitting our solid wood Iroko worktops in kitchen and utility room. Dave was able to replace my kitchen island top to match. Using the leftovers. Buying the matching Iroko island top would have cost us hundreds more and ours looks no different to a pre made piece. Good quote, hard working, friendly, but most importantly a really quality job done. I am so happy with the outcome I have already discussed a future project for Dave to do. Couldn't recommend more!

Tony is skilled as a joiner but unreliable. Totally let us down! It was going all very well until he started to come to work randomly. Shortly after he stopped responding to emails or messages. We had to get in touch with the painter who works with him to ask if anything had happened to him. To our surprise all was ok, he was just ignoring us (and still is). We have sent him several emails and messages asking for fundamental information about the finishes used so that another joiner could carry on with the unfinished works but there was no reply again. We have now decided that the only way forward is to take further action. We are not only angry but also disappointed. The way he let us down is an insult to say the least. Pls do take a look at the photos. Unfinished dressing room, skirting boards, lack of shelves, doors and drawers for the wardrobes, unfinished job in the pantry. There was supposed to be a glass cabinet.

Simon has made a fantastic job of our staircase. He removed the spindles and replaced the handrail with a solid oak one, plus newel post tops. He fitted glass where the spindles were previously. He is a very clean and tidy worker with an eye for detail and made sure we were absolutely satisfied with his work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Simon for any carpentry job, and if we need anything else doing will call him first.

So in the end the job description changed but billy did a great job sorting out the door frame and fixing some floor boards. Currently awaiting his quote for the airing cupboard but billy is polite and helpful and we would be happy to hire again in the future if required.
