I can highly recommend Mikky as the person to hire From his visit to quote me, there was an air of honesty and knowledge about his craft which made me feel comfortable with him as a tradesman, being a female seeking quotes ( hence why I hired him on the spot) Mikky completed the job a week after this quote, being punctual and on time, exactly as stated Excellent pricing and expert knowledge. The workmanship was superb and both Mikky and Matt did a fantastic job. Tidy, no messing around and also pedantic about the final finish of the wall (rebuilt from existing blocks from the wall and new bricks, as to stay in keeping with the street and keep unnecessary costs to a minimum) Highly recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Would use him again and also recommend him to friends and family without hesitation. Stuart Oetzmann was the first to respond to my request, and quickly arranged a site visit to discuss & agree the scope of the work. This was agreed and costs submitted , including scaffolding, which I was happy to accept. Work commenced on site on July 31st, and finished on August 11th, slightly ahead of forecast. Standard of work was good, and Mr Oetzmann made regular visits to site to supervise and support the work. I found him a most helpful and sociable person and I was happy to accept Gorse Cottage Development as a contractor.

The price was competitive. They started the job on the agreed date and it took the length of time they stated. The job was neatly done with no mess. Both of the builders were sociable without wasting time. I would use them again if I needed another job doing.

We had one large bedroom made into 2 bedrooms for our children. This involved ripping out double wardrobes, building a dividing wall, installing a window in the roof, building new doorways, new skirtings, architrave and plastering. Iain and Stuart were fantastic - not only were they reasonably priced, they were punctual, friendly, tidy and very professional. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all while they were in the house working. They were great with my kids and my dogs and did an absolutely brilliant job of the rooms. They look amazing - we're so happy with their work and will never go elsewhere for a builder again!

Quotation; Steven arrived on time with a polite and professional manner, he listened to what we wanted doing and provided a clear and descriptive quote within a day. Work; Steven completed an extension on a historic building using reclaimed bricks, he was punctual each day and kept his work area tidy. Steven showed exceptional workmanship and excellent skills to blend the new brickwork in with the old. At all times Steven was polite, hard working and did exactly as was quoted for. We also used Steven to build a brick wall out of reclaimed brickwork, a new extension using block work and smaller internal repairs to exposed historic brickwork. On each job Steven has showed the same level of professionalism. I would highly recommend.

Joel is an incredible worker, he never stopped until he completed the job, he is understanding as to what is required, gives really good advice, he certainly knows his trade, the work he has done for me on my unsightly wall has transformed my world, as it was a constant eye sore for many years.
