He arrived promptly with his Partner and together worked continuously through the day to complete the work in hand i.e. Affixing a timber stud wall ...with plasterboard in readiness to plaster. They worked as a good team together and completed the Project as arranged to a very high standard...clearing up after them. Both well mannered and polite. It was a pleasure to have them here . Great job - from popping along to view job and supply quote. Good comms - arrived on date agreed and stripped down brick work and replaced 2 x lintels and rebuilt all brick work. All rubbish removed and area cleaned. Lovely to meet Andy & Ian - would definitely recommend these guys. Very meticulous in work approach and a pleasure to deal with.

Tony and his Dad repaired and replaced skirting on a dining room wall and around a newly installed open fireplace and stove. In addition, on the same day they scrapped out and re-pointed an old and fast decaying chimney stack. The work on both jobs was of the highest standard and at a very competitive price. I really appreciated Tony and his Dad's work for me, whilst I had a few days off work and undertaken on what was a pretty chilly November day! We hired SJ Build Ltd based on the price and the knowledge shown whilst providing the quote. They helped make sure our plans met with building regs, something we had missed. They turned up when they said they would and worked very hard over the two days. The patio, porch step and garden path were all completed to a very high standard and provided excellent value for money. At the end of both days they made sure they cleaned up after them selves and left no mess. We would certainly have John and his team back to our home in the future when needed. Thanks!

Our renovation job has been split into parts. First job completed was fitting a radiator to a room that lacked one, everything working great. Second job was to fix cracked external render that was letting water into the house. The house is now dry. Everything was kept neat and tidy during and after work was finished.

I had a retaining wall built on my property (in Wrexham). GBD started as agreed, I Initially had a bricky and a labourer, as the job went on they then also supplied an apprentice to help speed the job. All the guys (including Steve the boss) were skilful, knowledgable, informative, patient and reliable. They were very easy to communicate with, I had a couple of request, they were only too happy to help with my requests. After having a few other quotes, GBD were not the cheapest, however, Steve knew what I wanted and gave some good advice of how the wall should be built. The job took a little longer than was first scheduled for, there was no extra cost. (Steve stayed at his original quote). I would have no hesitation in recommending GBD for any building work.
