Rating: 5 out of 5 551 reviewAfter contacting a number of builders with a view to putting in some new steps acceptable to Planning restrictions, Martin was the only one who actually turned up and was enthusiastic about doing it. He was very professional and explained what he would be doing and I found him easy to talk with . He did the job over two days and it looks great. He told me he had spoken with Planning and had followed their guidelines so I am not expecting any problem. I would certainly employ Martin again.
The job was to rebuild an existing wall in my garden and then extend this wall to create a new bed for plants. Mark was very professional and punctual. He provided all the materials needed and completed the job in the time described. He even came back to complete aftercare and clean down which I wasn’t expecting.

Bricklayer in Kirkcudbrighti have done my nvq level 2 in brickwork at the collage of west notts in Nottinghamshire and i have been in the building trade ever since. I have worked in Germany and up and down this country and loved every minute of my work. I would say i have at least 23 years experience not just in bricklaying but building as a all in one.
Although Mr White came to give me a quote quickly, his quote was £2000 more than that of the known company we used for one job and a quote for a small stone wall using stone on site was six times the price given by my gardener. Either he didn't want the jobs and should have said so or he was trying to rip off what he thought was a gullible old woman!!
