Hello..I’ve been working on historic buildings for over 25 years now. My main work consists off useing Hydraulic lime to repoint or replace brickwork and I specialise in a bespoke style of tuckpointing. however I have done many projects that consist of flush,wether struck,brick replacements aswell as brick laying. I also offer other brick restoration services including brick facing and brick tinting. I have a passion for restoring London and Kent’s historic buildings and have won awards for some famous projects I’ve worked on. However I’m now looking to reach out to more local and smaller jobs after years of large site work. I have a vast knowledge of old and new buildings,damp problems and when to use lime and when to use cement. My knowledge of brick restoration services and repointing comes from years of experience and a passion I still have now for preserving these buildings for future generations. My name is Greg, I’m 34 years old and I’ve been working in construction for 19 years now, I started in June 2005 at the age of 15 and started an apprenticeship in bricklaying by September that year, I was never hugely fond of bricklaying however with the precise perfectionist attitude I have It turned out I was pretty good at it! Working for a mid-size building company with great values sent me down a path of getting to experience all the trades and try my hand at them, I became very fond of carpentry and tiling but the real passion I found was being outside patios and hard landscaping, I had a rich start laying copious amounts of Brazilian black slate which any tile/slab layer will tell you is one of the hardest to lay! Given that my specialities would have to lay in the bricklaying/ slab laying and general landscaping areas with a keen eye for design and love for the environment and horticulture of the land I approach every job excited to work with you the customer to help make your dreams a reality, Every job has to be perfect for me even to the dismay of my work force when I have taken work up if not happy, and quality over quantity always.
