With Christmas on the horizon, there’s still time to make a big difference to the outside of your home with some little jobs. We’re not talking about grand projects: these are small projects you’ll really appreciate over Christmas. Get them planned now and when the festive period kicks off, you’ll be glad you were so organised.

Add some power

Two words: Christmas lights. Festive lighting is guaranteed to add a bit of festive cheer. Whether you’re lighting up an outside tree, running rope-lights or adding illuminated decorations in your garden, you’ll need outdoor power - and it’s normally pretty quick for an electrician to add a proper weatherproof socket.

Have a garden tidy-up

It’s likely you aren’t planning a Christmas BBQ. But if your garden’s lit up by Christmas illuminations, it might be time to get things neatened up. Of course, there’s an added bonus that the work is already done when spring rolls around.

A little extra help

If you’re getting some help to hang Christmas decorations, are there any other jobs a handyman or woman could do at the same time? Cleaning the gutters? Replacing broken bulbs or security lights? Repairing your fascia? It’ll be cheaper and faster if they’re already up there.

So whilst you’re busy buying presents, and prepping the rest of the house for the festivities, our experts can get the outside of your home prepped in no time, so you don’t have to worry about it.
