Lucia was, from the outset, professional and always approachable and receptive to ideas: she combined her architectural experience with knowledge of local planning laws and she always knew where to find an answer. If she didn't know something she was honest enough to admit it. Her concept and detailed drawings for our extension project were beautifully executed and practicable. Through Lucia's diligence and hard work we managed to get planning approved for our scheme. We then hired Lucia to supervise a major renovation project: repairs to a leaking roof and the complete re-design of the rear garden of our house. Lucia displayed the same energy and eye for detail that she had for designing the extension to our house. Since we were living abroad for the duration of the renovation works, we depended entirely on Lucia to source individual tradespeople and materials and to supervise the project and ensure the works were completed on time and on budget. She completely succeeded and worked tirelessly on our behalf. I would unhesitatingly recommend Lucia for an architectural project that included extension drawings and gaining planning permissions or for more routine works as described above. She has that rare combination of laser-like efficiency combined with a lovely personality and an instinctive knowledge of what her clients want. They provided a scheme sympathetic to the style of our property and and have included many cutting edge design features. The result is a job well done, on time and within budget. You NEED Housi on your project, they took the stress out of our renovation!! We would highly recommend! We got in touch with Housi to help with ideas to renovate a new property I was buying. Holly from Housi helped us with architectural and industry advise throughout the process even before starting full design services which helped me understand my budget more and where items from the survey and my design ideas could overlap. As I was trying to limit costs, Housi helped develop a phased approach to the works as well as assessing options to have a self contained rental unit to bring in income to pay for the final works later. Overall, Holly helped us find minimal abortive works whilst trying to maximise value and functionality. As well as design strategy, she helped us submit a licence to alter application as we found out the house was under a covenant agreement, and managed the project through tender also - meeting with builders and getting quotes. Most importantly, she was able to advise us where builders may be overcharging so we could assess the right builders for us. Working with Housi really made a difference to our project by helping us understand the different stages of a renovation. Holly offered so much more advice and reassurance than any previous professionals we had worked with on our last house and even helped us source re-claimed steel as we wanted to be as circular as possible.
