I'm afraid I was dissatisfied with Pauls visit, I'm not sure what I paid £250 for as nothing concrete given in terms of options and no follow up paperwork for nearly three weeks which had been promised after first visit. A shame as very impressed with Joel whom I spoke with initially. Perhaps our £100k budget was too low for this companies full attention.

Gordon is a very nice chap and was one of the only architects we spoke to that encouraged us to go for planning permission on a two story project where others told us it would not be possible. Planning was granted and we have Gordon in large part to thank. He also came up with a great suggestion which we had not considered to add a window to the side of our extension to avoid it feeling 'like a box', which we did, and with the project now completed we are very pleased we decided to do so. This was our first building project, and Gordon provided us with some useful advice on finding the right builder too. The only negative experience we had was some measurements were initially incorrect, which led to some stress later on with the structural engineer which could have been avoided. Gordon did however come to the property fairly promptly to re-measure. Overall it was a positive experience and we would consider using Gordon and his team again. Thank you Gordon and Robert.

Shiraz is a very experienced Architect. I hired My Architect to work on loft and rear extensions. I had an idea of what I wanted but Shiraz helped me ground it into reality and we ended up coming up with a design that was better than what I had. He was also very responsive and helped me in the process of getting approval for 6-meter rear extension which had been refused before. Shirav is very rounded in architectural work, structural calculation, and the flow of planning and building control. Shiraz was extremely helpful and professional in the early stages, determining the right direction to take my project. Further to this, the design process with Shiraz was an absolute pleasure. Everything is made clear, easy, and stress-free. The Designs were beautiful and any questions or advice I needed were answered quickly and empathetically. I can highly recommend Shiraz for Architect work as he has a broad domain knowledge of the work.

The brief we gave was to get change of use on the site and planning for as many units as possible. It was a very difficult site with 11 party wall issues, a dangerous structure fronting a public highway. The whole process was dealt with very professionally and successfully. We were taken through the planning procedures and felt confident and comfortable throughout the process. I am delighted with the final plans and the achievements made by Ackroyd and Assocs. We hired Johan for the project of 2 bed flat remodeling to increase living space. Johan quickly helped us gaining the planning permission for the loft conversion within conservation area. He has excellent knowledge in architectural design and building regulations. He is very creative and full of ideas but as well as good at listening and respect our views. Johan is very strong in technical drawings and has good connections with structural engineers, builders and he project manages everything extremely well. Throughout the project he's always been very responsive and reliable. He explained things to us, answered all the questions and has always been professional and honest. We would recommend Johan to anyone who needs a good architect!
