It was a very difficult site with 11 party wall issues, a dangerous structure fronting a public highway. The whole process was dealt with very professionally and successfully. Gordon is a very nice chap and was one of the only architects we spoke to that encouraged us to go for planning permission on a two story project where others told us it would not be possible. Planning was granted and we have Gordon in large part to thank. He also came up with a great suggestion which we had not considered to add a window to the side of our extension to avoid it feeling 'like a box', which we did, and with the project now completed we are very pleased we decided to do so. This was our first building project, and Gordon provided us with some useful advice on finding the right builder too. The only negative experience we had was some measurements were initially incorrect, which led to some stress later on with the structural engineer which could have been avoided. Gordon did however come to the property fairly promptly to re-measure. Overall it was a positive experience and we would consider using Gordon and his team again. Thank you Gordon and Robert.
