I am a Freelance Architectural Design & Build Consultant with over 23 years' experience as a designer across the architectural, workplace, retail, and leisure sectors. My core strength is technical delivery: taking projects through design and on to site, covering construction drawing packages, detail design, drawing checking and contractor and consultant liaison. I have seen projects through every stage, from initial brief to completion, but I thrive on the technical delivery. Most of my career has been spent working with and for contractors, in roles ranging from direct employment to self-employment and architectural positions. Marcel Holmberg holds a Masters degree in Architecture. He grew up in Oakland California and his work experience began designing residential projects in Santiago, Chile. He later worked with german architect Ole Scheeren in Beijing and Berlin. There he had a lead role designing projects in Asia and Europe. Since 2014 he led his architecture office from Beijing. After eight years in China he moved to Europe and has worked in mid sized residential buildings with german architect Eike Becker.
