Very unhappy with how things went with Angle Construction overall. Poor comms during the transaction was the first red flag - no communication for 2 days the moment money was sent, however afterwards received an apologetic call - parts ordered and arrived in due course. Andrei turned up, and got to work on removing the old gate, but then started shaving down the post without saying anything -we were told after that the posts were not level. Eventually he said the door would need to be cut, which we agreed to. The door and posts were both cut to fit, but massive gap left at the bottom, and only half of the door fittings and no handles were installed! In addition, where the door was cut and the wood shaved made, a lot of mess was left all over the garden furniture and patio floor. Shocked at the lack of care and professionalism. He was clearly agitated and in a rush to leave. We have a working back door, but it looks like a real botched job. Not happy, and I would not recommend.

Overall - Excellent windows and service marred by poor quality of additional requested works. Two double glaze, timber framed sash windows were ordered and fitted. The windows appear to be of excellent quality and the fitting service was very good. Bali, the project coordinated, provided up to date communications throughout and worked hard to ensure that the fitting took place as soon as possible, but at our convenience. In addition to the windows improved draft proofing of the existing front door took was requested. Unfortunately this work was conducted to a poor standard and is now far worse than it was originally. Once draft proofing was fitted and the door rehung, the door no longer fitted and drafts and noise had significantly increased. I was apparently made aware that this might be the case (I wasn't) and was told that I would still have to pay for this work although, if I wanted a new door (at significant cost!) I could claim back the cost of the draft proofing against the cost of the door. This is slightly infuriating as I wouldn't need a new door if the work had been done correctly! For this reason I have to give negative feedback, which is unfortunate as the windows and service surrounding them was excellent.

Carpenter was very dedicated and used his skills very well on fitting the 4 heavy doors. Recommend for further work although he is a decorator by trade, appears to be able to do many tasks well! Great guy and family man. John

Adam is a fantastic tradesman and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any family/friends/colleagues. He came on time on the day agreed to complete the work and we are very happy with our new window and door. He finished the trim around the new window and door very nicely and even offered to fix something on one of our other old windows, which was missing a bit of trim at the top. We had a few quotes from other window fitters found on my builder and Adam came in at a very competitive price and based on his feedback on here and checkatrade, we were confident he would be a good choice. His wife is very good at communicating prior to the work being carried out and she is very nice as well :) I wish we could replace all the windows in the house now!
