Hi I am 58 years old . I have been plastering for 30 plus years. I am very precise on my preparation before I plaster the walls. Reason being . if the wall is not solid underneath cracks will appear after it has been skimmed . So I make every effort before skimming to stop this from occurring 3 months down the line .
