Unfortunately JLC Carpentry did a very poor job and the units they installed ultimately had to be removed. They failed to install wall plugs to securely fix the wardrobes to the wall (they only used screws). Instead of using appropriate materials to support the shelves, they used rough, unfinished skirting board offcuts. The wardrobes were attached to the wall before the plaster had properly dried, which caused damp to spread into the units. They also failed to secure the base of the wardrobes correctly, with screws that were not properly aligned with the wood. I have attached photos. Because of these issues, along with several others, I would not recommend JLC Carpentry.

I am very disappointed with the standard of the painting and wallpapering work that has been carried out. There are several holes in the walls that have not been filled before painting, which has left the finish looking poor. In addition, the wallpaper has not been hung properly, as the pattern does not match up correctly and the seams are clearly visible in multiple areas. I have also noticed that the light fixture has been left loose, which is unacceptable and raises concerns about the quality of the workmanship overall. I expected the work to be completed to a professional standard, and unfortunately this has not been the case. I would appreciate it if you could arrange to inspect the issues and advise how and when they will be rectified. I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

Rubin and Sahil are both con men, STAY AWAY FROM THEM. My job was to fit a 29 windows and 6 doors, the quote was average. When they came to look at the job they sounded like they know their stuff. But they know shit. Having to redo all the windows, kicked them off site. Taking money everyday. STAY AWAY.

Job has yet to be completed 8 weeks after deposit paid. Have now had to issue final deadline before starting legal proceedings. Claimed to have visited my property 3 times to start work whilst I was on holiday, CCTV evidence suggests this did not happen. Visited once when challenged on this and did about 30 minutes work. Claims materials were ordered them tried changing spec of the job without consent, this was a delay tactic due to no work being completed. Gave Steve a job to supply and fix the door, took ages to come, when he came he wasn’t prepared, the door hinges ddnt align, new door with scratches,it took three weeks up to now he hasn’t finished sorting the door, he is nolonger answering his phone after I paid him the full amount, he is unprofessional
