Plastering- 29 Nov 2025
Unfortunately didn't want to look at the job beforehand. Sent someone on the day we booked in with no way of protecting carpets and not even enough plaster to cover the ceiling meaning the job was cancelled on the day leaving me with a wasted day off work. Did attempt to rebook for another day however I obviously declined

Thank you for your comment and for taking the time to share your feedback. While I appreciate your input, I feel it’s important to provide clarity and context regarding the situation. I am not usually one to leave feedback or engage in online disputes, but in this case, your actions and the experience we had warrant an honest response so you can hopefully learn and improve in the future. From the outset, I gave you an opportunity to work on our property despite my partner’s reservations about your level of expertise. You inspected the job, gave your professional opinion, and quoted a price. Although I initially offered a different amount, I ultimately agreed to pay your full proposed cost, which you received in full. Unfortunately, the first job was done incorrectly while I was away. When I asked you to correct it, you refused unless I paid extra. You also charged for removing materials from a job that was poorly executed and wasted both our money and resources.

Windows & Doors (Wooden)- 10 Dec 2015
Overall - Excellent windows and service marred by poor quality of additional requested works. Two double glaze, timber framed sash windows were ordered and fitted. The windows appear to be of excellent quality and the fitting service was very good. Bali, the project coordinated, provided up to date communications throughout and worked hard to ensure that the fitting took place as soon as possible, but at our convenience. In addition to the windows improved draft proofing of the existing front door took was requested. Unfortunately this work was conducted to a poor standard and is now far worse than it was originally. Once draft proofing was fitted and the door rehung, the door no longer fitted and drafts and noise had significantly increased. I was apparently made aware that this might be the case (I wasn't) and was told that I would still have to pay for this work although, if I wanted a new door (at significant cost!) I could claim back the cost of the draft proofing against the cost of the door. This is slightly infuriating as I wouldn't need a new door if the work had been done correctly! For this reason I have to give negative feedback, which is unfortunate as the windows and service surrounding them was excellent.

Windows & Doors (uPVC & Metal)- 12 Aug 2021
The glass on the doors were damaged during installation although changed after I complained at his cost. The job was started and took 4 months to complete following difficulties from his supplier? His correspondence to myself was poor throughout. I still wasn't happy with the final result as the frame was drilled in the wrong place and capped in the end. I have asked for my FENSA certificate on numerous occasions with no response strangly enough. Apparently 1/10 jobs don't go to plan and as he said and I was one of them. Let's hope your not?

Windows & Doors (uPVC & Metal)- 28 May 2016
Total waste of my time, made arrangements for installation of my kitchen window, took time off my work to be in for them to arrive and have not heard a thing from them, no phone call, no tex massage, no email, NOTHING..!! Have called, texed and emailed them all day and with no answer.. Waited 4 weeks to get a date that would suit both of us and they don't show up, I will not use this company again and do not recommend them to anyone.. And being it was a double glassed window I guess they must of known sometime ago they were not going to turn up as the window would of needed to be made..

Windows & Doors (uPVC & Metal)- 6 Oct 2026
Not good, unfortunately and the only bad experience I have had on MyBuilder. I had these to give a quote and all was good. They told me how good they would be and, once accepted, they were VERY keen for me to pay a deposit with multiple reminders in quick succession. This was paid. From that moment the issues arose, I was promised a visit to do a technical measure (but not the actual job) but that wasn’t the issue. Multiple appointments were simply missed with no contact or reason, I had to chase each time and was met with a new excuse and new appointment, with the same outcome. After 5 weeks since I paid, I was then told that they would no longer be able to take the work on. In addition to this, I got a really rude phone call from the owner, when I dared to asked for the refund ASAP, in which I was spoken to quite poorly and she ranted and hung up on me. I got my money back and will find a decent company, dodged a bullet I feel and would advise others to avoid. Shame really.

Restoration & Refurbishment- 21 Feb 2026
Job was Ok, took ages to finish the job, over a month for decoration and floorboards, which was supposed to be two weeks. Turned up at odd times also and worked til very late, had neighbour complaints due to noise. The finish on decorating was OK , had to point out and redo work which lengthened the timescale. I'm not sure what to say actually, very weird dealings.
