I am looking for weekend work: fitting doors, trim, skirting mouldings, and other smaller jobs. * Further discount on prices below may be considered on full house fitting (doors & skirting) * Updated pricelist (22/05/2025): Price per: 1 door a) Hollow door: £55 b) Solid softwood: £70 B.i) Solid softwood with glass £80 c) Solid hardwood: £80 C.i) Solid hardwood with glass £90 d) Internal fire door to meet fire regulations: £300-£600. With new frame (+ £150-£300). Depending on the size and weight of the door, if it is a two man job the price is doubled. e) Internal domestic fire door no fire strips, margins, door closers: £150-300. f) External hardwood door: £800 ..... I will touch up any of my work that requires it. For example, new doors are kept bone dry in the warehouse and may swell when fitted into their new home due to the natural humidity in the air, this can cause issues with opening & closing the door within 2 weeks of fitting. This is a natural occurrence and not an error in the fitting. I would simply re-adjust the frame/ or the door once it has tuned to its new climate. There is no additional charge for this adjustment.
