Latest review:Electrical-I was quoted a price for replacing old fusebox by Gary over the phone which I accepted . When the day came for my installation , the electrician explained to me that before they start there might be faults or non compliances with current regs . I was so confused because he said they wouldn’t know until after the consumer board was fitted and they had tested every circuit etc I agreed for them to go ahead and within a few minutes they identifiied 3 cables that would need replacing near fusebox as not within current regulation size. On asking what the cost of that was , I was advised an extra 195 plus vat . That was before they even fitted the new consumer board . Also , they pulled out my light fitting in the downstairs bathroom and told me that needed additional work to comply . We had further discussions and they could not reassure me of how many problems might arise or cost . I became concerned and felt out of control . Paid 75 for labour and kept original fuse box for now! 🤦♀️

Latest review:Plumbing-A brilliant job. Lloyd did more than the original brief but didn't charge extra. He was polite, friendly and worked cleaning and efficiantly. We were fortunate in his being able to fit us in at short notice having been badly let down by a local tradesman who walked off the job without completing it.

Latest review:Joinery & Cabinet Making-Steve did an excellent job of making a new door frame and hanging the new back door. Reasonable cost and friendly service. We had a slight problem with the lock and he returned in less than 24 hours to sort it out, great service, would definitely use again.
