I hired Onyx Property Works to regrout a bathroom and to remove and apply new sealant. The "finished" job was horrific. My brother had needed to use the bathroom and so I had not been able to immediately look in detail. Louis did reduce the amount by £30 and explained that it would need a good clean tomorrow but that he could not do that whilst it was wet. It was getting late. When I had a closer look: Louis had blocked the bathroom plug hole (he disputes this but the water was running down the bath plug hole fine the day before) The grouting was uneven throughout and in places didn't meet the edges. The sides were siliconed instead of grouted. The new silicone around the bath has been stained black (it was supposed to be white) and has been applied unevenly. The whole job is an absolute nightmare. A fundamental part of the contract was to ensure protection of the decorating - he's destroyed the new decorating in the bathroom including ceiling, walls and even glossed wood that I've spent my spare time doing. Do NOT trust.

Stay away from this tiler. Very unprofessional, booked fitting dates and on the day, didn’t show up. Our kitchen was scheduled for fitting this week and now we have to reschedule because of this tiler. Very poor communication. Stopped answering calls or text messages. Avoid at all costs.

From the start Ryan and Danny where very approachable and professional, they were very patient with me as I’d never had any work to this scale done before I had a lot of questions. They took the time to answer all queries and were very professional about it considering I was probably stopping them from doing what they were doing. At the end of every day they left the site clean and also asked if there is anything else I needed. They went over and above what I asked for them to do etching the budget agreed, the job was finished on time the transformation from old tired garage with Tim roof to brand new modern lovable space is amazing. Would recommend 100%, I’ve even got them pricing up the next job I want them to do. I would just like to thank the lads for there hard work in some horrendous weather conditions love the new room. What an amazing job. John responded to the project request same day and even visited same day to inspect the job. He gave some great advice as to what was required and returned a few days later to start works. He was extremely professional, clean working and gave great attention to detail. We can't fault his workmanship, he takes great pride in his work and that really shows. He even gave advice as to how to proceed once the tiles were finished and we were fitting the new kitchen. We would recommend John to anyone and will definitely be keeping his contact details for future works.

I’m extremely disappointed with the standard of work carried out. The painting & decorating were completed to a very poor standard, with a careless finish throughout and a need for constant supervision. There were repeated issues with punctuality, as he regularly arrived late. The workmanship was unacceptable. My wallpaper has been damaged, when I raised concerns about scratch marks, I was told they could simply be covered with a pencil, which is not an appropriate solution. In addition, the finish along the skirting boards is uneven and jagged. I am very upset by the quality of the work and do not feel that it meets a professional standard. Based on my experience, I would not recommend his services. I have photographs showing the issues and am happy to provide them if required. Not a received a response, with my concerns. With his callousness he broke my beautiful glass vase which he knocked off £20 for he should’ve been more careful but he’s very careless & clumsy. Remain anonymous

Was on time day of tiling, was told it would all be done in one day and it wasn’t, came back next day to grout but not at time agreed. Messy workers and didn’t communicate problems leaving me with more work to do after to make things look good. Overall good worker and standard of work good. Just a few niggling things.
