Job was Ok, took ages to finish the job, over a month for decoration and floorboards, which was supposed to be two weeks. Turned up at odd times also and worked til very late, had neighbour complaints due to noise. The finish on decorating was OK , had to point out and redo work which lengthened the timescale. I'm not sure what to say actually, very weird dealings.

I wish I took the negative comments more seriously before hiring Edi for my bathroom but he downplayed them very well, promised a great quality of job plus the pictures on his profile showed jobs properly done so I trusted him. What a mistake! I had exactly the same problems as described in the previous negative feedback. Basic errors with laying the tiles – not only uneven lines but also wrongly cut tiles that left plenty of gaps (he even covered one of the gaps between the wall and floor with a sealant!, others with too thick layers of adhesive or grout, which just look awful). He wasted many tiles unnecessarily too and wasn’t even able to apply the grout correctly; missing many tiles, creating lumps and failing to clean the grout from the tiles after application causing their discolouration! Not to mention plumbing problems – leak that gets fixed only for a couple of hours and then returns. The quality of job is of an amateur, not a professional. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an option to attach images to the feedback - I have plenty of them so please contact me before thinking about working with this person. He promised to correct the errors but I'm still waiting for this to be done nearly three weeks after the job was apparently finished. He is also avoiding contact. I hope MyBuilder will take relevant steps. My advice is – spare yourself the unnecessary stress and wasted money and HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!

Tom has done an excellent job in tiling the walls and floor of a newly formed wet room. His attention to detail was good as he had to cut around a small niche in the wall, and he sealed all corners in silicone. Tom is easy to work with and I will be using his services again.

No issue with the work, but quite put off with a quote of £1350 for a boiler, when all others quotes were around £850-£900! Also, wasn't to impressed that Matt kept asking if I was going to pay, as he has come across people in the past who haven't paid?! Nevertheless, as promised he was paid.Like I say work was ok, but needs a little bit of work on the customer service side of things.

Initially the job started well. However after 6 days- work was still not completed on a job that should have taken 1-2 days max- work was not as requested in certain areas and we’ve had to arrange a new tiler to finish the job. We do appreciate things happen- but based on the disruption/ and end result we would not recommend. Miscalculations caused spaces in tiling- boiler cover to no longer fit flush to wall- silicone was messy in areas- some areas not filled at all and we were left without washing machine use and £80 x 2 to remove/ reattach sockets as this was done incorrectly. We trusted contractor to return to resolve and work to be guaranteed but sadly this was not to be.

I recommend Swift Home Solutions without reservation. Throughout the job they have kept me fully informed and have always found time to discuss the work. The quote was extremely reasonable, the work completed to a very high standard indeed and the area was tidied fully on completion. They both worked diligently, were friendly and approachable at all times and nothing was too much bother. Bathroom Fitting- 26 Apr 2019
Not happy with the final outcome. Wanted a first fix to change existing pipes so that they did not show. I removed floor boards so pipes could be positioned to come up into the room and be positioned directly below the new bathroom furniture. Instead they were positioned so far away, I had to have them redone by someone else. Also copper pipes were left too short, and had to have someone else make unnecessary joins to extend the height. He also slipped and put his foot through the ceiling below and blamed me for having rotten beams! Offered no compensation, and cost me a further £40 to repair the ceiling.

We had are downstairs toilet walls tiled by these guys firstly they didn’t have enough tiles after us giving them the correct measurements so told us they will have to go the week after to get them from the shop when it was open again then later txt to say they are going to have to get them ordered in so had to wait another week for the job to be completed... once the tiling was all done they then couldn’t fit the toilet back in so we then had to order a new toilet which they sent a link for a new toilet when it came it was only the pan and nothing else and they said it was the wrong thing so ordered another... they then came out to fit the toilet in and then told us not to use it for a few days... so when we came to use it again water was pouring out the back of toilet so contacted Liam who said he was away and couldn’t come to us till the following week then told us a week later he had a plumber coming to fix it....after my husband waited in no one turned up! So he messaged Liam who again fed us a lie.. said he would come the following weekend to sort it... again my husband waited in and he didn’t turn up... no explanation no apology nothing! So we had to get another company out to fix the toilet! We certainly won’t be using them again!

WARNING! Please read before considering this tradesman. My family had a new bathroom installed. The bath was installed without a support frame and the bath panel was balanced in place with only silicone to hold it from falling inwards. There were large gaps 15-20mm left in the tiling which would have been filled with grout alone had I not intervened. I was quoted for tiling 3 walls from floor to ceiling, but ended up with 2 thirds only being done and the rest hidden behind the furniture. The same day the job was "completed" and final payment was made we noticed the issues with it that night when bathing my kids. Communication had been good whilst the work was being carried out, but when we tried to contact him that same day to return to resolve the problem we were completely ignored. Text, phone calls and email went unanswered and even my phone calls were blocked. Not what you expect from a professional tradesman at all. Dont fall for the it, took our money with no shame in leaving the job unfinished. Look elsewhere.

Really pleased I hired Martin to do my kitchen tiles. He is punctual and friendly, I was given a very reasonable price and his workmanship was excellent. I had large gloss tiles fitted with insulation and underfloor heating so the work needed to be perfect and I was extremely impressed with the result. I will be recommending him.
