Posted our job on Thursday of last week and Steve replied about 2 hours later, and then visited us the same day, Following his visit he sent a detailed quote the same evening and we agreed that he could start the following Monday. All work was completed on time (2 days) and to a very acceptable standard. Would happily recommend.

I’m extremely disappointed with the standard of work carried out. The painting & decorating were completed to a very poor standard, with a careless finish throughout and a need for constant supervision. There were repeated issues with punctuality, as he regularly arrived late. The workmanship was unacceptable. My wallpaper has been damaged, when I raised concerns about scratch marks, I was told they could simply be covered with a pencil, which is not an appropriate solution. In addition, the finish along the skirting boards is uneven and jagged. I am very upset by the quality of the work and do not feel that it meets a professional standard. Based on my experience, I would not recommend his services. I have photographs showing the issues and am happy to provide them if required. Not a received a response, with my concerns. With his callousness he broke my beautiful glass vase which he knocked off £20 for he should’ve been more careful but he’s very careless & clumsy. Remain anonymous

I hired Gary for the job on 11th May 2019. He was very courteous and gave me a fair price on his quote. We kept in touch through the course of our renovation. However, he came today for a site visit, just 2 days before he is due to start(admittedly we were delayed by a day, he was meant to start on Monday but a delay meant he could only start on Tuesday) and said he wouldn't be able to do the job anymore. Our plumbers have actually managed to complete on time which means he can start but he just sent a text saying he wouldn't start and didnt answer any of my calls. Then he sends a text saying he has rescheduled all his work due to the delay of 1 day! Extremely unprofessional and unreliable - he has put my entire project at risk over nothing. Avoid at all costs.

I hired Stephen to make good of tiles in a bathroom where new thermostat had been fitted. I was extremely impressed at how professional he was. Works was completed to a very high standard. Reliable. Trustworthy and on time. I will certainly hire Stephen for any other works we have that he is able to do. Stephen also left the property very clean and tidy after he had completed the works.

After one initial setback on start day the job went very well. Julian did an excellent paint job after vastly improving the look of some pretty old stairs by filling, caulking and sanding them first. He was efficient and pleasant to have around and worked quickly with little mess. I would definitely hire him again for further painting work.

Barry came to put right a job a previous builder did. A huge task, it involved taking down and starting again. He explains exactly what he will do, and the cost involved, which was very reasonable. He is a likeable guy, and after the past experience, I felt I could trust him completely. I now have a very nice greenhouse, and grateful to Barry for his knowledge and hard work. I will definitely have Barry back for any future jobs, and can recommend him.
