Tiling- 21 May 2024
I had the absolute misfortune of hiring these two tilers for my home, and I cannot stress enough how important it is to steer clear of them. They are perpetually late, leaving me waiting for hours on end. When they finally show up, they work in the most unprofessional manner imaginable – the mess they leave behind is astonishing. The tiling job they did was rushed and sloppy. Patterns were not followed, and they had to come back the next day to correct their numerous mistakes. Even after the second attempt, the result was horrendous. On another job, the grout they used started cracking within just two months. When I contacted them to fix the issue, they blamed the grout itself and refused to return my calls. Their lack of accountability and responsibility is appalling. Save yourself the headache and find someone else. These tilers are not worth the time, money, or frustration.

Keshan did a complete bathroom refit, from the first day we met him we got a good vibe from him and liked how he suggested things to add to our bathroom design. Throughout the project he was extremely professional and would offer solutions to any problems that arose. I cannot fault Keshan's work. We are so happy with the end results and would definitely use him again.

Tiling- 19 Jan 2024
I hired Arun to do the tiling work in the bathroom. Arun is like a businessman who sends labourers to work. He doesn’t get his hands dirty. Arun and Jas are dishonest people. Their modus Operandi is this: Arun sends Jas and another labourer with no skill. They charge you the price for two skilled labourers for both men. They work just as slowly, leaving several places unfinished, even though they agree on your work schedule. Jas seemed to be Arun's only skilled worker. In some places, he does a good job; in others, it is terrible and needs more attention to detail. Jas is quick-tempered and doesn’t like to listen, sometimes making communication difficult. He plastered a wall and left the window hedges unplastered. If you asked him why the work was not finished, he would always say: ‘I’ll finish it tomorrow’, but he never did. The cleanliness of Jas and his men is less than zero. Despite repeated reminders, he left the site in a mess after work, so I hired people to clean up after him. Jas and his men have no respect for my materials on the site. He did not have the decency to cover the floor when plastering but took a brand new Celotex sheet as flooring. He said he would clean it later when I asked him about it. To this day, the Celotex tile still needs to be cleaned. To summarise, I would stay away from them. I have to spend a lot of money to fix the work I have already paid for with them.

Painting & Decorating- 28 Oct 2026
Unfortunately not a great experience. Ioan came for the painting but then said he could take on the tiling, carpentry, plumbing. The work wasn’t great and there was wasted materials due to inexperience. We discussed amendments but then ‘last minute changes’ were blamed for poor workmanship. When we disagreed, he shouted at me on the phone too and I had to tell him to calm down and get his emotions in check, so he hung up on me. He also said that I was not paying attention and that my mind was elsewhere when I said I did not agree to things like the flooring not aligning with the wall. At this point I referred him to the man who lives with me because that was a step too far. Would not recommend.

Kitchen Fitting- 31 Jul 2019
To say Nick is just a kitchen fitter isn’t doing his work justice, he’s a fantastic project manager and craftsmen as well. When we first met Nick he took 2 hours of his time running through all the options which was when we realised we were actually quite clueless! Although we hadn’t hired him at this point his advice was invaluable. We assumed this would mean Nick’s professionalism would mean he would be very expensive, this was not the case and he was actually a little cheaper than the other parties who quoted. Once Nick started it became apparent that he and his assistant Chow to great pride in their work and worked hard to get the job finished as quickly as possible to the highest standard. They left the site spotless at the end of each day. The result is a fantastic kitchen and flooring which we are extremely happy with. We are already thinking about the next renovation piece in our home and would love to use Nick again. Thanks Nick! Niall & Hannah
