I recruited Nenad and his boys to re-tile my bathroom and they ended up doing everything I needed doing in my flat which included painting all the walls and ceilings, installing a new toilet and radiator, and re-sanding and re-polishing the floors. I had a really positive experience working with them. Nenad was very easy to communicate with – responding straight away to messages and calls, and keeping to the dates and meetings we had set up. He and his team were able to start very quickly after another decorator let me down at the last minute, and worked extremely hard to get the work done on time. We hit several unexpected problems during the work – leaks and damp issues which needed to be solved – and Nenad alerted me straight away, suggested a plan of action, and got on with it as soon as I gave the green light. His quote was almost double some of the others I was initially given for painting the flat, but he assured me that I would save money in the end, that other issues would almost certainly crop up which would take extra time and require the other builders to keep adjusting their quotes as they went – and I think this turned out to be the case. The work took longer than planned and yet he was able to cope with that, despite having other jobs lined up. In the end I paid only a little over the price we'd initially agreed, and this was because I added new jobs to the list. Nenad went out of his way to ensure I was happy with the end result. I fully recommend these guys.

I am extremely happy with the job Isac has done. We are so very lucky to have found Isac to do our home. At the time of the works we were expecting a baby and Isac worked night and day to make sure our home was ready in time for our sons arrival. Without him we would have been screwed. Isac’s work is extremely professional. He has high standards and is very skilled. He’s honest, direct and respectful. I now consider Isac as a friend. Andrei and Andy were both very polite and helpful, and they explained what needed to be done in clear detail. They helped me discount the bad advice of some other contractors who I had gotten alternative quotes from. They were willing to answer all my pesky homeowner's questions and gave good advice when things didn't go quite to plan (the surprises of old buildings!). They were always on time each day and worked hard. The work was finished to a high quality and they went above and beyond to ensure I was informed along the way and satisfied at the end. I have been disappointed with many other contractors in the past but I would not hesitate to recommend ABL Building and Construction to friends and will use definitely them for my other jobs in future.

I don’t recommend from my personal experience. I am writing this feedback 1 year after so this is based on true experience. The project was dragged over a longer period of time than agreed. He suggested to buy all the materials and we have accepted expecting decent quality products will be used (we are not experts). After he has left, we had a leak under the bath tub, which we have fixed by another plumber (didn’t have the energy to call back and wanted a once for all reliable fix). Taps were difficult to use and we have realised after that they don’t have thermostatic valve (didn’t know this detail before). We can see many cracked grouts due to uneven floor, then we have started getting water leak from the shower (wet room) into the ceiling of the underneath kitchen. We have hired again another tradesman to re-do most of the bathroom. When tiles were removed, we can see very thin materials, very poor tiling tradesman quality (nothing wrong with B&Q tiles). Very disappointing that someone can deliver such poor quality work and hide it all with tiles on top. Such stress, waste of time and waste of a lot of money.
