We spent a long time trying to find a reliable and quality tiling company after finally being introduced to this website. We read the reviews with interest and selected 2 tiling companies that we felt were best placed to carry out our complex install to provide us with a quotation. Although SHT had one negative comment out of a plethora of excellent reviews; we were right to dismiss it and were impressed with SHT's professional and knowledgeable approach at our first meeting. SHT are competitive and were hired because of trust and confidence that the team would get the job done to our high and exacting standards – we made the right choice! We were absolutely delighted with the local team that carried out the work, their approach, diligence, attention to detail and hard work has delivered a stunning backdrop for our new bathroom and we can't wait to install the sanitary ware to see it in all its full glory. We will be tiling throughout the ground floor once the building work has been finished and hope that Shane and his team won't be too busy to carry out the work for us. We have already been recommending SHT to our relatives, friends and contacts; great tradespeople are rare these days so we want our connections to have the same positive experience as us! cant fault the actual tiling but the job was left half finished. After a miss communication over who was supplying the grout peter rang me and said it wasnt a problem as he could get some and simply add it to the price. Peter decided not to do this and simply left the job un grouted.

Dear John, We express our extreme dissatisfaction with the works that you commenced (W/C 17 November 2025) at our property. The agreement was to fully tile the Hallway and the porch area with tiles supplied by ourselves, fitting brass doorway trims and full grouting prior to skirtings being fitted. The scope and timeframes were clearly detailed and discussed and your quotation agreed but not fully executed or adhered to. It is noted that: • An excessive amount of tiles were broken and pieces left lying around requiring additional purchase of tiles. • Tiling and grouting to the porch is incomplete and no trims fitted to the edges that cannot now be fitted without tile removal. • The brass jointing strips between different tiles at doorways were incorrect and fixed with exposed screw heads, as opposed to the normal tile inlaid type. These now need to be replaced which will be difficult as the tile edges should be inserted. • The pocket door and lock to the downstairs wash room has
