Jason & Angus gave me a reasonable quote to fit 3 internal doors and 1 external. They spent the best part of the first day smoking out the front & chatting (not sure if they could see me watching on my cctv) anyway they started to slowly get the work done. Jason said he made a mistake by fitting one of the glazed doors instead of one of the solid ones in the lounge. Had to order another door which costed an extra £110. He fitted another internal door back to front then had to come back to change it as it was a hazard sticking out in the middle of the room which left holes and damaged the framework. The work took an extra 2 days longer than expected which was annoying but I just wanted the work finished. 3 days after he left we discovered that we could not shut the external back door as he hadn’t left any room for the door to expand and one of the internal doors is hanging off as he drilled big holes in it so I now have to buy another and pay someone to fit it! Cowboy builders!

What a mistake! Left with cracked bath,damaged water resistant drywall, uneven mosaic, diferent shades of grout, badly done boxing snd finishing. Was a bad timming for me and my family but didnt cancel the job and make it work as i wanted it done after long time of planning nad budgeting. Hired Joe of JQB BUILDING to do tilling on 3 walls and along the basin vanity units. Agreed on price and 3 day of work. Skimming went fine. On Second day, Joe mananged to drop a tile and done a big dent on a newnish bath, mosaic sagged and material is gone. To rectify he had to break the drywall, ruining the integrity its function being water resistant, and glued the mosaic back with obviously bad and uneven result. Did offer to replace it. Wasnt the case, he fixed it which now is cracked again. Wasn't happy Joe and his Wife workmanship. But had to agree to finish the job, as I was in mid procces and couldn't rearange for someone else to take over at that stage. Been charged 180 pounds for a stack boxing, done badly and rushed trhu. Joe has been paid in full his asking price. Chrome profiles cut thru, not glued and siting loose like a cap. No wararanty on any of above has been left, even on what was fixed Can be a good all around for a cheaper jobs where quality and aesthetics are not a must. Customer skilles and comication poor. Regreting HIRING him to do my bathroom, but there is no way back now. its done, BADLY!

Paul has done an excellent job refurbishing our bathroom. The project was meant to be simple and straight forward, but as the house itself is quite old, we had several unexpected issues and we had to make some last minute adjustments, but Paul as a true professional with a very good eye for the details, had no trouble to sort them out. He has completed the work following our requirements, but made some valuable suggestions and adjustments. He kept the area clean and tidy and made sure we were happy with the progress. I hired Arun to do the tiling work in the bathroom. Arun is like a businessman who sends labourers to work. He doesn’t get his hands dirty. Arun and Jas are dishonest people. Their modus Operandi is this: Arun sends Jas and another labourer with no skill. They charge you the price for two skilled labourers for both men. They work just as slowly, leaving several places unfinished, even though they agree on your work schedule. Jas seemed to be Arun's only skilled worker. In some places, he does a good job; in others, it is terrible and needs more attention to detail. Jas is quick-tempered and doesn’t like to listen, sometimes making communication difficult. He plastered a wall and left the window hedges unplastered. If you asked him why the work was not finished, he would always say: ‘I’ll finish it tomorrow’, but he never did. The cleanliness of Jas and his men is less than zero. Despite repeated reminders, he left the site in a mess after work, so I hired people to clean up after him. Jas and his men have no respect for my materials on the site. He did not have the decency to cover the floor when plastering but took a brand new Celotex sheet as flooring. He said he would clean it later when I asked him about it. To this day, the Celotex tile still needs to be cleaned. To summarise, I would stay away from them. I have to spend a lot of money to fix the work I have already paid for with them.
