I hired seasouth builds because not only did he give a really reasonable quote, but he also had knowledge of tiling over retrofit underfloor heating - which other tilers seemed to be really hesitant to work with. The job was done to an excellent standard - he’s a real perfectionist. It did take a bit longer than expected, due to some floor level issues which he didn’t account for when he quoted. I was really worried about the price increasing out of my budget when we started running over time, but I was so grateful to find that he was a really honest guy who stuck to the agreed quote and didn’t try to make it my problem one little bit. He was polite and friendly throughout the whole job, turned up whenever he said he would, and kept in constant contact. Really honest (I happily left him unattended in my property). Customer service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. 10/10 would recommend.

This guy came and saved me as my builder decicded to abandon the job. He was very professional and his estimate was exactly what my kitchen company estimated it to cost. He then went over and above and helped me install curtain rials!! Highly recomend him and who works with him will be surely pleased with the outcome

I don’t recommend from my personal experience. I am writing this feedback 1 year after so this is based on true experience. The project was dragged over a longer period of time than agreed. He suggested to buy all the materials and we have accepted expecting decent quality products will be used (we are not experts). After he has left, we had a leak under the bath tub, which we have fixed by another plumber (didn’t have the energy to call back and wanted a once for all reliable fix). Taps were difficult to use and we have realised after that they don’t have thermostatic valve (didn’t know this detail before). We can see many cracked grouts due to uneven floor, then we have started getting water leak from the shower (wet room) into the ceiling of the underneath kitchen. We have hired again another tradesman to re-do most of the bathroom. When tiles were removed, we can see very thin materials, very poor tiling tradesman quality (nothing wrong with B&Q tiles). Very disappointing that someone can deliver such poor quality work and hide it all with tiles on top. Such stress, waste of time and waste of a lot of money. Jay helped us out of a tight spot rectifying our bathroom floor and wall tiles fitted by another builder. He knew what to do and spotted and addressed short cuts the previous tradesman had made. Jay is polite and flexible and he stayed late plus worked weekends. Happy to use Jay again when he is less busy.

Daniel has done an absolutely stunning job on our ensuite wetroom. He tiled the walls, floor (inc a fall to the wetroom drain) and a shower recess all very neatly and we are so happy with the result. Hes professional and really skilled at what he does. i would not hesitate to recommend him or use his services again.

Tomasz was very professional and great customer service. Aside that he and the team did a great job at redoing the bathroom and repairing the ceiling, floor and walls downstairs. Very happy with the work done. He was also able to fix a few other issues around the house, front door, garden folding doors, both were not closing properly. Pretty much an all rounder handy man.

Very happy with their work. Friendly and professional. There were a couple of minor niggles with the kick-board and trim which they offered to correct. We had to wait for the grout to set on the tiles, so I did these minor jobs myself. Professional, efficient, and friendly service.

I'm not quite sure how my experience was so different to the other reviewers. Richards work was honestly pretty sloppy. When painting the wall next to doors he didn't use tape and has got grey paint all the way down our white doors. He couldn't be bothered to prep the surfaces even to a basic level, he left small holes unfilled and our paint job is covered in lumps and splatters which I've had to paintstakingly go round after to sand back and repaint. Richard is a lovely guy but I honestly think his eyesight must be failing because he couldn't see these issues without me pointing them out. I cancelled the job halfway through and painted the rest of it myself and although I'm not a professional painter decorator did a much better finish myself.

Could not recommend more highly, the best client service and product I have ever received. This is a father and son team who absolutely shattered expectations - we genuinely consider ourselves so lucky to have found David and his father and couldn't be happier with their service. On the first meeting their expertise was immediately obvious, with just a single walk through of the property being enough for them to identify what we needed and pick up on details that only comes from years and years of practical experience. That set the tone for rest of the relationship, with there being so many instances of them going out of there way with no other intention than to provide the best client outcome possible. Here are just a few examples that show their genuine client care and professionalism: - David was constantly available on WhatsApp or the phone to answer questions or provide advice with almost instant responses. I don't think I've ever experienced better client service in any context. - David and his dad personally ran around London for days trying to find replacement doors that fit the frames, picked up paints from the store, found and purchased appropriate fittings like door stops, light switch covers etc. - these small things were taken care of us with just us needing to approve options they found in store. It was a massive time and stress saver for us. - we were doing this on the fly so evolved our requirements almost constantly throughout the project - these were always accommodated and not only that, with such a positive and helpful attitude that it made our lives so much easier - when retiling the bathroom they informed me they would have to take the cabinets out to tile underneath - I suggested they could tile around it but insisted that it should be done in case we ever wanted to replace the cabinet. They did this at no extra cost to ourselves, just extra work for them which underscores their professionalism. - they gave proactive advice on so many aspects of the project, including the most appropriate paints and floor varnishes, proactively identifying design faults that we were not aware of and remediating them (e.g. very oddly placed light switches), identified a pretty shoddy job of repairing a leak in the loft and future proofed it for us which is again something we would never have been aware of until another leak occurred, they even proactively put a small sliding door into the bathtub panelling (no extra cost) to ensure any future plumbing issues could easily be investigated. - they were unbelievably clean which was such a nice bonus - the property was immaculate at the end of every day, and for me that showed a level of respect for clients and the property that is so hard to find. - measurements - they took care of all of these for us , including tile measurements, blinds, garden edging etc. - it was such a luxury to be able to just be told how much of each needed to be ordered and they were 100% accurate - again such a time and stress saver for us. These are just some examples of our experience, I can honestly say that this is the lever of service we received throughout. With such an amazing service you might think that they would have charged a premium. This was not the case, in fact the opposite, I could easily see another contractor charge 2-3 times what we paid, and it is particularly impressive when you consider the flawless finishing and breadth of work they undertook - the whole house repainted (walls, ceilings, cabinets), the flooring sanded and revarnished plus carpet upstairs taken out and floorboards repaired, painted and varnished, garden landscaped, bathrooms retiling, fireplace retailing, toilets replaced, light switches rewired etc - it was a full makeover. They also achieved all this in 2 weeks - that is no mean feat but is even more impressive when you consider that our requirements were constantly evolving - they took all in their stride and just replanned sequencing of activities to accommodate us. We have since passed David's details onto no less than 5 friends who have all been absolutely delighted, so we've put our recommendation into practice!
