Hi, I’m Scott and thankyou for taking the time to read this brief description of me and my working background. I am a tiler and also in the last few year been completing full bathroom refits. I have been tiling and working for myself for 8 years. Previously I was a maintenance fitter a number of oil and gas companies. I made the change after the birth of my first child when I was made redundant. I saw it as my opportunity to work for myself and decide on the hours I want to work and really haven’t looked back. Over the years my knowledge in the industry has grown and developed a lot. With my previous background and skills I decided to step in completing full bathroom refits as well. This gives me the full benefit of seeing the final outcome of my work, which is nice as I take pride in what I do. I like to think that my attention to detail, helps the work I do be completed to a high standard. I am also very clean and tidy which I find important when working in someone else’s home. I started plastering 8 years ago (solely in the north east) working alongside my dad whilst working through my apprenticeship. I have been fully qualified for 6 years. I’ve completed jobs from the smallest of scales such as patching all the way up to full house renovations under tight deadlines. I have extensive experience in damp work, tiling and fencing.
