Fernando from Alva Solutions is an amazing talented designer & skilled craftsman. He asked questions and listened to the needs of my family at our very first meeting making wonderful recommendations I would not have thought or known about and then created the bathroom space of my dreams. He is professional, extremely hardworking, honest, polite & thoughtful. An exceptional eye for detail and design. He carefully explained all aspects of the project before and during job. At the end of each day the site and surrounding areas were left safe clean & tidy. Fernando and his team showed huge patience with my two noisy nosey puppies and the very small working and storage space they had available to them and the ‘challenges’ my property threw up from previous works carried out by other contractors in the past. I would totally recommend Alva Solutions and will be using them again myself in the near future!

I have been in the carpentry game since the age of 12. Went to Richmond college to get my qualifications. I started on site for 4 years before going on my own. I have previously had a company on mybuilder doing flooring. Company was called L&Ds Flooring. Did this for about 3 years before having trouble with knees. Then went back to work with a family member doing extensions and refurbs and have been doing this ever since

Thanks to MyBuilder.com that I met Zain. A young dynamic professional, who is an expert of what he does. I recently had the pleasure of working with him on the remodelling of my toilet/bath and his performance was simply outstanding. From the onset, Zain and his team displayed professionalism, dedication, and a deep understanding of the work at hand. He provided a detailed quote that comprehensively outlined the scope, costs, and timeline of the project. What stood out to me was his commitment to transparency and his active approach in communicating updates and changes. Zain's craftsmanship and attention to detail are second to none. Each aspect of the project, from architectural design to the final finishes, was handled with utmost care and precision. He demonstrated an unmatched ability to deliver quality results while respecting the stipulated timeline and budget. I was so impressed with Zain's work, that I handed him over my Loft insulation and Driveway project, and needless to say, he impressed me only further. I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Zain for any renovation project. In summary, Zain has proven himself to be a reliable, highly skilled, and customer-focused individual. I am extremely pleased with the transformation of my home and couldn't be happier with the service he has provided. If you're seeking a builder who is committed to excellence, I unequivocally recommend Zain.

Tiling- 31 May 2022
I met Sophie at the property who seemed to know her stuff, provided a quote and I agreed to have her complete the work. A start date was agreed and a deposit for materials was paid. Unfortunately, Sophie did just 2 hours of a full days prep work and then advised me that prep was complete when it was not (not sanded or leveled as agreed). I had to pull her up on this and after numerous text exchanges she conceded that the prep had not yet been done as her laborer fell ill. She then let me down by not turning up on three further occasions, apparently due to family illness/childcare issues. I was sympathetic initially, but in the end because the job was urgent I had to appoint someone else. She then came back and collected her tools and returned a fraction of the deposit, leaving 1 bag of adhesive in return. If you use her you may have better luck than I did...

I am absolutely delighted with my new bathroom! The builder did an amazing job, and I could not be happier with the result. I must admit, I can be quite a difficult customer as I changed my mind several times and made a number of changes to the bathroom layout and design along the way. However he was incredibly patient, understanding and accommodating throughout the whole process. He listened carefully to my requests and was very attentive to every detail and always did his best to make sure I was happy. I truly appreciate his hard work professionalism and patience. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and talented builder. Thank you for doing such a fantastic job.
