Darek came to view the work on Tuesday and completed the job in a timely way on Thursday. He quickly asssessed what needed doing and provided good advice. He sourced the materials needed and carried out the work very well, explaining what needed to be done as he did the work. Good personality and was started well with the job but Kevin abandoned my job and did not come back to finish it. Stopped taking my calls and I used another number to call him and he picked. And promised to come back but did not for a year now. He should return half of the money I paid him. This is really unacceptable. He removed my window handles and didn’t buy the new handle he collected money for and the window is still locked up for a year now. I will not recommend.

EGT construction’s service and work was 10/10 from the beginning. Honestly from pricing up the job to completing the job. He was patient, attentive and helpful. I explained my vision and he helped me execute it. He also made recommendations of things he thought would be good to consider aswell as explaining things which I may not have considered. Leo and his team were very clean as they worked and cleaned up after themselves. This was not only a job to him but also building a relationship to continue in the future. He is a honest and humble person which is very difficult to find within this trade. He was transparent and very fair with his price. Honestly anyone who is considering to use EGT construction rest assured he and his team will get your job done without cutting corners. I hired Gary for the job on 11th May 2019. He was very courteous and gave me a fair price on his quote. We kept in touch through the course of our renovation. However, he came today for a site visit, just 2 days before he is due to start(admittedly we were delayed by a day, he was meant to start on Monday but a delay meant he could only start on Tuesday) and said he wouldn't be able to do the job anymore. Our plumbers have actually managed to complete on time which means he can start but he just sent a text saying he wouldn't start and didnt answer any of my calls. Then he sends a text saying he has rescheduled all his work due to the delay of 1 day! Extremely unprofessional and unreliable - he has put my entire project at risk over nothing. Avoid at all costs.

I do not gain or lose anything from this review, so I will be as honest as I can. Leo and his colleague Toly were hired to replace hallway and bathroom floor tiles, cut and install ceramic skirting boards, install new bathroom shelves and sink, new kitchen splashback, solid oak bench and kitchen sink, and also paint the walls. They are professionals and they take pride in the quality of their work. They labor hard, and they get the job done. They do not come cheap but their rates are ultimately fair, and in this industry you get what you pay for. There are a lot of cowboy/clown builders out there, and Leo is not among them. I would definitely recommend hiring him.

Luke and Diti are both amazing guys for this project. Honestly speaking they aren't the cheapest quote, but they are definitely beyond expectations. Luke was the only builder who gave a full transparent quote on each item and what was needed for the conversion. Really quick work and good planning because I have 2 cats and they did everything with enough people onsite to minimise the time. Speaking of work, it is good, we kept in communication and they were always happy to explain and adjust slightly according to my concern/question. Leave this comment after the work has been done for few months and everything is solid.

Posted our job on Thursday of last week and Steve replied about 2 hours later, and then visited us the same day, Following his visit he sent a detailed quote the same evening and we agreed that he could start the following Monday. All work was completed on time (2 days) and to a very acceptable standard. Would happily recommend.
