I'm an APPROVED ELECTRICIAN. I have been working in the electrical industry for 15 years. I've work mostly in commercial and industrial builds/refurbishments, but have done my fair share of domestic. I have experience with Electrical, Data, Fire alarm, Security, Disabled alarms and CCTV installations. I prefer price work, as I am a hard worker and quick but extremely neat.

I qualified as an Advanced Craft Bricklayer in 1993, working for the local council in occupied properties. I have been in the building industry since I left school, working in occupied and empty properties, been a lecturer at local institute, and managed a trades team. I also have completed a muti skills course gaining some qualifications in carpentry, plastering, plumbing, tiling and decorating.

I am relatively new to tiling, having had a career change from policing and public health. I attended Able Skills Construction Training Centre where I completed a 7 week course in wall and floor tiling. I am now working towards an NVQ Level 2. My preference will be to learn the skill of Victorian tiling and restoration. As I am relatively new, my day rates will in general be lower. I will also be passing any trade discount for materials onto customers, where I have an account with the supplier. I can work all over Essex and Suffolk and have my own transport, public liability insurance and tools.
