We have had quite a bit of work on our property in the last few years and the final project was to be our bathroom with the focus around a beautiful copper bath which has been sitting in the spare room waiting to be installed for nearly a year. We needed a company that could deliver a very high standard of work at a competitive price. Top building were not only very fair and competitive but wonderfully detailed in their approach both in quoting and their workmanship which is second to none. Vladimir and team understood the project from day one – made a few trips before hand which built the relationship and made myself and my husband very comfortable with our decision to instruct Top Building. What I enjoyed most is that Vladimir made great suggestions and offered money saving advice. Nothing was too much trouble and I really felt the team got behind the project. The knowledge and expertise is of an exceptional level. We had a few odd jobs that needed to be done which the team (Evo and Dimitri) welcomed and efficiently completed. I very much appreciate the patience and flexibility shown by the team and Vladimir’s brilliant way of keeping us informed every step of the way. Bathroom was totally refurbished including new Walls, plastering, electrics, tiling and new boiler. It really has been a pleasure working with the team – I will most certainly be recommending them.

Tevin started on the specified day and did a superb job on tiling three bathroom walls and floor (including round the window and small fiddly sections behind the pipes). He was methodical, tidy with great attention to detail and a really nice guy to have in the property. We were very pleased with his work and would recommend him for any future jobs without hesitation.

So happy with the result. Tom was incredibly helpful and did a great job cleaning and boarding our loft. It was a messy job (loft looked like it had been gathering dust for 50+ years) but he kept the dirt contained throughout. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a builder or carpenter.

Alex provided a great service. He came round on time to view the job, gave a detailed and competitive quote and built the bathroom exactly to spec. He was keen to ensure I was happy with all aspects of the installation with regard to both materials and workmanship and even carried out some small additional activities not included in the original quote. He was polite, hard working and very experienced. He also cleaned up the house at the end of each day. I am really pleased with my bathroom and would thoroughly recommend him to anyone.

I couldn't fault Ermir's service or expertise. He installed a new sink and toilet for me at short notice and went out of his way to get me a splashback that actually looks nice rather than the tiles I had available! Have no doubt that I'll be going to him for future renovations (retiling of bathrooms next month, and inevitably more jobs going forward as I improve the space, which looks like it hasn't been improved in decades!). Genuinely cares about his clients and providing them with something he would have in his own home.

He sourced the materials needed and carried out the work very well, explaining what needed to be done as he did the work. I hired Gary for the job on 11th May 2019. He was very courteous and gave me a fair price on his quote. We kept in touch through the course of our renovation. However, he came today for a site visit, just 2 days before he is due to start(admittedly we were delayed by a day, he was meant to start on Monday but a delay meant he could only start on Tuesday) and said he wouldn't be able to do the job anymore. Our plumbers have actually managed to complete on time which means he can start but he just sent a text saying he wouldn't start and didnt answer any of my calls. Then he sends a text saying he has rescheduled all his work due to the delay of 1 day! Extremely unprofessional and unreliable - he has put my entire project at risk over nothing. Avoid at all costs.
