Restoration & Refurbishment- 19 Apr 2026
Didn’t return to finish the job, respond to calls or messages in response to finishing the job. Sadly wouldn’t hire Ovi & Mihai (O&C) again. Friendly & responsive initially. Worked well, on time, eager to please, did a good job - not perfect but adequate, average attention to detail but corrected when asked. We initially had a faux chimney put in, they touted for more work & provided alcove shelving/cabinet ideas which we subsequently hired them for. They worked intermittently (dad around for first half of job then left for Romania) as this was agreed as best for both parties. However they left the job incomplete once paid (were paid on time, each time, with no bargaining). Didn’t respond to texts or calls, leaving cabinet doors unfinished, large chips & cracks unfilled. Laminate was also poorly cut around hearth stone, left chimney cutout unfinished with no cement to the base. Lack of respect and wouldn’t hire again as cannot trust they won’t disappear. Note previous reviews.

I was initially happy with Dan. He seemed trustworthy, was punctual, transparent with his pricing and gave me a competitive quote. Unfortunately, my experience changed completely once I raised a few snagging issues and asked him to return and rectify them. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, he repeatedly chased me for a £109 materials payment, despite me clearly saying I would pay, threatened to report me to MyBuilder the same day, and later became personal and insulting. I had planned to use Dan for a much larger second bathroom job, but I no longer feel comfortable doing so. It’s disappointing because my initial impression was positive, but how a tradesperson handles issues after completing a job is just as important as the work itself. Being insulted when I had remained polite and respectful throughout was completely unacceptable.

Edmond did a great job tiling my kitchen. I can’t fault his work at all. He was great at keeping in touch before the job, arrived exactly when he said he would and completed the job in he amount of time he said he would. He made sure to clean up as though he hadn’t been there. I would recommend Edmond and will likely use him again.

Tiling- 8 Mar 2022
I hired Ben to do a really complex job installing natural Italian white marble in my Fulham bathroom. It involved about 100 mitre joints and epoxying and and polishing these joints to make the tiles look like solid pillars. Ben’s price was lower than the other quotes that I got, and when he came, i think it became apparent that maybe he’d underquoted for the job. Ben was adamant that finishing the job as promised was the main priority, and didn’t compromise on his delivery in any way. Ben stuck to the price and didn’t try to renegotiate or deprioritise the job. Can’t believe how good the job looks. Ben was also a nice guy, very tidy, very friendly, very funny. Would definitely recommend BNC tiling for any job, large or small. Top job from a top man
