I carried out a carpentry apprenticeship over 20yrs ago and have worked in the trade ever since. I worked as a foreman where I picked up many other skills such as tiling, dry lining, decorating, plumbing etc. I was a site manager for around 5 years, looking after projects between £10-£2million. For the last 5 years I have worked as a contracts manager for a building company on projects across the UK.
