We were very lucky to have found Christian's company on MyBuilder. He and his work colleague Chris have done an absolutely wonderful job of transforming one of our rooms (that we had stripped back to the bare bricks!) into a beautiful bathroom at a very reasonable price. It was one huge job, but they have worked tirelessly every day for the last 2.5 weeks, including weekends, to get this bathroom finished for us! Despite having to deal with hard-to-work tiles, and other unforeseen issues, they've not rushed any of the building works, problem solved the issues and worked meticulously and precisely on every single step. Their work was done with care, was neat and professional. The slightly later than expected completion date was totally worth it (also for the long term). Furthermore, Christian has been very good at communication, was punctual and they've both been incredibly nice builders. All in all, I would totally recommend them (I'm going to hire them again to refurbish our other rooms)!!

Beqa and his team completed kitchen floor tiling job very efficiently and to a high standard. They supplied relevant adhesives, grout etc. Excellent communication and very helpful throughout. Highly recommended.

Ovidiu did an excellent job with my bathroom. The original job was for replacing some lose floor tiles, but upon inspection the whole of the wooden underfloor was rotten due to a shower leak, so he had to remove sink, shower tray and toilet and redo the floor from scratch. He worked fast and efficiently, and was very knowledgeable about a range of different trades: electrical, plumbing, tiling. So I was able to do everything directly with him without having to hire other tradespeople. At the end there were some small snagging issues, but he quickly came back to address these at no charge. Overall, very satisfied with his work and would highly recommend.

We have agreed the price and time. Job shouldn’t be taking more then 7,8 days. First day was a bit unlucky due too water pipe joint broke and caused a leak(hallway ceiling damage and needs plaster, paint. Somebody with 30 years experience should switch water supply off though. After that experience I was a bit worried but accidents happened and anybody need a second chance so work was carried on still. Bathtub fitted, wall tiling done, radiator fitted.i was thinking lovely. Do like it. Still few more things to finish our project. Wall shelves were next to do. Tilling over it done. he went home 4 pm. Bathtub was a bit dusty so I’ve done a bit of cleaning. What I have found out shock me a bit. Silicone over on 4 different places so I have removed it and found out scratches on bathtub. Could believe why my builder put silicone over Scratches. Phone him straight away to understand why he did it. What I heard back was shocking. his explanation was even more shocking because apparently he was trying to help me out. He was saying in the morning when he start working scratches were already there. Off Saturday so I was at home. Clearly if you are builder and found out something dodgy you should let customer know straight away to avoid arguing I think. he try to blame me for damaging my bathtub. Doesn’t want to replace damaging goods so I have to terminate our job. Would highly not recommend him at any cost. really not happy. Had to hire another builder to carry on my project.

Excellent work by Gheorghe! This involved some complicated work to joinery substrate, and some plumbing alterations as well as tiling: he is a great all-rounder. He came up with better solutions, worked hard to complete the work without a break, and the result is excellent. He also thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. We have already agreed to have him back for other work in the near future and have recommended him to friends.

As I asked the bathroom to be made watertight was left without silicone applied adding extra work. The work is passable and make sure if you decide to use Mikel you have checked that everything is checked out. Has spoilt what would have been a great job. You have been warned

He is NOT a professional tiler. Tiling of our cloakroom and bathroom was horrendous. *Took double the amount to time which was quoted* *Working hours 4pm - 10pm* *Poor levelling of tiles across ALL walls (despite using cement boards) and floor (despite himself applying self levelling compound)* *Uneven tile placement meant tile corners didn't align with adjacent tiles* *Uneven spacing of tiles despite using tile spacers AND tile spacers were not removed/cut enough before grouting, so plastic is now bulging out* *Huge untiled gap left between wall and ceiling* *Chipped tiles from using poor blade* *Incorrect tile colour placed on right-hand side of door frame* *Grout/adhesive was pasted on top of plastic wrap I had used to protect pipe. I can see the plastic sticking out* *Steel edge trimming falling short across the length of tile and not fully encasing the tile edge* *Gaps in sealant work, and poor quality where is was done* *Very messy worker* Pictures do not do any justice.
