We stumbled across Rhys on My Builder, and from day one of meeting Rhys from Stride Plumbing and heating, it was apparent that Rhys and his team were dedicated in their work. Not only did they provide an amazing service and explained everything thoroughly we feel we received the highest quality of workmanship. Rhys was always there going above and beyond to ensure that the job of installing a brand new heating system in our home went smoothly. Every question answered and even the silly ones! Always arrived on time and always ensuring they cleaned up as they went along. We are over the moon Rhys with your quality of work, we would defiantly recommend Rhys and his team and will be using them again in the new year when we start another project. Nick and George turned up on time and were very polite and friendly throughout. Even though the work was more than first anticipated (it needed infill boarding and more replacement tiles) they did the work without bother and honoured the original quote. Completely and utterly brilliant. They also gave me a proper invoice and allowed me payment options.

So happy with the result. Tom was incredibly helpful and did a great job cleaning and boarding our loft. It was a messy job (loft looked like it had been gathering dust for 50+ years) but he kept the dirt contained throughout. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a builder or carpenter.

The work Mihai and his team did for us was a Hallway redecoration that included: re-plaster walls and paint, remove carpet, refurb damaged staircase and paint, build custom storage under stairs, make good in hall closet, fix damaged floorboards, and lay new wood flooring in the hallway. Mihai was a great communicator especially in the first week as we set up quote visits and went back and forth on what the job would be. He always showed up on time (or let us know if he was running late). He was collaborative and gave knowledgable input and feedback on our ideas based on his expertise. Execution was to high standard (though we did notice this dipped a bit as the job ran over and the team had to rush). Mihai was really flexible throughout, and while we went over the 2 week estimate job time, it was due to uncovering some big un-expected issues (eg instead of skimming the walls we had to take them back to brick!). Mihai talked us through the implications of these discoveries, made recommendations on the way forward and sort out additional expertise to get it done. The entire team was so nice, polite and friendly. Overall really happy with him and his team's work!

I recruited Nenad and his boys to re-tile my bathroom and they ended up doing everything I needed doing in my flat which included painting all the walls and ceilings, installing a new toilet and radiator, and re-sanding and re-polishing the floors. I had a really positive experience working with them. Nenad was very easy to communicate with – responding straight away to messages and calls, and keeping to the dates and meetings we had set up. He and his team were able to start very quickly after another decorator let me down at the last minute, and worked extremely hard to get the work done on time. We hit several unexpected problems during the work – leaks and damp issues which needed to be solved – and Nenad alerted me straight away, suggested a plan of action, and got on with it as soon as I gave the green light. His quote was almost double some of the others I was initially given for painting the flat, but he assured me that I would save money in the end, that other issues would almost certainly crop up which would take extra time and require the other builders to keep adjusting their quotes as they went – and I think this turned out to be the case. The work took longer than planned and yet he was able to cope with that, despite having other jobs lined up. In the end I paid only a little over the price we'd initially agreed, and this was because I added new jobs to the list. Nenad went out of his way to ensure I was happy with the end result. I fully recommend these guys.

Flaviu did a really nice job with professional painting and decoration. Most importantly, Flaviu really put customer at the first, not the money. When my tenant moved in and was picky about the work, Flaviu came back and make my tenants satisfied while I was away abroad. That really give me a peace of mind. I was looking for a trade that could meet the job requirements and had a good attitude towards work. After having received few quotes from other trades that I was not happy at all (none of them was doing complete work and was quoting too much due to e.g. some were hiring/subcontracting other people for tiling, electrical work), I was referred to mybuilder.com by a colleague and found John and his son. Our family are very happy with the work they have just completed this week. My additional comments about John: - very reliable, honest, great work attitude - being an all round builder with many years of experience means they do all the work without relying on others which is very cost efficient/helpful and he used his own ideas/experiences to finish the work with top quality - was very responsive on the phone throughout, kept me up to date with the work plan so we could be well prepared e.g. removing old bath, toilet - kept everything tidy during and after the completion of work - 100% committed to the original quote even though they had worked extra hours
