Time waster. For a week and a half he told me that he will be available to do the job today and that he made the whole week free and wasn’t taking any other jobs just for this 1 job. He said he will buy the cement for the tiles and also spacers. I told him 9 days before the job if he was able to move the fridge, cooker and washing machine in the kitchen and he said that is fine. The days came and he said he will be coming at 9:30am. 20 minutes passed by as I waited for him and he did not message me to let me know that he will be late which a normal professional person would do if they are running late. Then it turned to 10:30 and I messaged him again and he said don’t worry I am coming. Then he arrived at 10:44. He came into the house and told me that he will not be able to move the cooker, fridge and washing machine due to ‘back problems’ which he never mentioned before. He left the house and said If I can find someone to move these then he will come. I found someone to move them and I asked him if he can come after, all of a sudden he is busy and unavailable today when he made the whole week free for this job? Not only did he waste my time and my families who prepared for these 3 days of not being able to use the kitchen. He did not apologise, he ignored my message after. He lied to me and mislead me. Very unprofessional. I am very frustrated.

Really nice guy, quoted a reasonable price, turned up, said he needed something from Wickes, down the road and would be back soon. He then texted to say his wife had gone into labour, but it may be a false alarm and would let me know. I haven’t heard from him since. Very inconvenient because I had plumbers and a carpet fitter lined up to synchronise with the completed plastering and now everything is on hold. Disappointed doesn’t even come close. Shame. It was clear you didn’t want the job when you turned up and I wish you had just said that.

They came to our house and we agreed and set an appointment for Monday, August 2. While waiting for the appointment, we emptied the living room, put all the heavy forniture away so that they could start working today. But they didn't show up. I tried to contact them via messages and calls, but they did not respond.
